We loved a garden surrounding accommodation. It is really beautiful and provides for much needed shade. Breakfast is excellent. Restaurant serving breakfast and lunch is nicely located close to the beach overlooking the sea. Lunch menu is excellent. Fitness area is small but good enough and fitness classes ran by Stefania are amazing and so relaxing. Kids club is great. The hotel has one of the best pools I have seen. Wifi is very good.

I did not like the beach, maybe beacause I was expecting a white sandy beach. There is a bit of sand on the shore where sunbeds are but entry to the sea is rocky. Dinners do not feel very special. I felt more like in a cantine. There is nothing nice to see or gor for a walk nearby. We had a car with us as we were anyway planning to do a few trips and dine in Tropea.

Baia del Sole is a gorgeous property. the grounds are well groomed and the rooms are stylish clean. Exceptional experience all around. One of the best.

Beachfront location (stony beach but it's clean and great for snorkeling). Good sized and clean swimming pool. Good breakfast with varied and quality products. Kids club staff are excellent, even though spoke hardly any English made sure my son was included and involved in all activities.

Only two sunbeds provided per room. Poor dinner options, on theme nights no catering for people with different dietary needs. Extremely expensive for a 4 star hotel (water at bar, beers at bar, lunch). Paid a lot more for room a month and half before trip and then see it heavily discounted closer to departure date. Had to move rooms because toilet didn't work, had to complain about that several times. Only dealt with reception staff as asked to speak to manager but no one ever bothered getting back. I think if you speak fluent Italian, stay there a few nights, pay half the price in terms of room price and love all their theme nights and haven't travelled widely internationally you will have a great time.

This was our fourth or fifth stay at this property. Typically book a home close by, and then spend 4-7 days at a hotel. Been vacationing in this area since 2004. IMO it is best property in the area and we’ve stayed at all the 4 and 5 (1) star properties. Property recently underwent renovation to the rooms and they did a nice job. Property overall has good facilities. Good rooms, very clean and comfortable. The food is exceptional and always has been 5 star! Breakfast and lunch (is a must do) and dinner are all fantastic.

Most staff are amazing! Love them and they bent over backwards for us. From grounds staff, to bar, and restaurant. However some of the younger staff were terrible. Rolling eyes at us if we made a request or didn’t like something. Felt as if they were doing us a favour for even being there. Typically, the younger night staff at restaurant. They work long hours so could simply be exhausted. Would see them arrive at 7am and there well into evenings. However, there are older more tenured staff that we’ve seen for years and they are amazing!!! Also, room fridges are not great, they are nee but to small and don’t get cold. Would be nice to have access to ice/machine to be able to have cold drink with my wife on porch/balcony once kids are asleep. Apart from this great stay. definitely be back again.
