We recently stayed at Alba Palace for a few nights. Location was good, right next to the Monastery and train station is close by. About a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Room was as expected and described. Breakfast was average.

Breakfast was pretty average and beds were uncomfortable.

The room was comfortable -- and the bed was very comfortable. The TV in the room worked very well. The breakfast was good, offering quite a variety of foods to satisfy everyone for their day of travel. The staff was very nice and helpful!

The quadruple room wasn’t quite what we expected. The only lighting was from the upstairs window. Mini-fridge only upstairs not convenient.

However this hotel is not luxury or even premium by any means and in no way can they justify the 375 Euro per night that I was charged at the time of booking. With an 8.7 "Fabulous" rating i was completely underwhelmed and expectations were not met. With an 8.7 rating, if you charge 375 Euro for standard room, then your guests are going to have pretty high standards and expectations of what they have booked. I was misled so please don't make the same mistake in booking this hotel is the price is above 200 euro. If you pay anything over 200 Euro for this hotel then your are in for a disappointing experience.

Location was perfect and Breakfast was amazing!

Lovely hotel with nice sized room. The room was comfortable. It was too copd first night as we didn't know how to turn off the air con but once we did it was perfect. We didn't have much breakfast because we werent hungry but we did have a proper coffee and that was good. Excellent location, especially if your getting train into town. Highly recommend.

No iron in room but got one on request but no ironing board but we made it work.

lovely little hotel that was minutes away from the train station. the morning breakfast was great with a lovely lady running it all. overall it was clean and tidy with helpful staff. I would have loved a room with a balcony- they looked lovely.

just not quite there with the finer eye for detail, so a dusty coffee maker, finger smudges on mirrors and switches but overall clean and tidy.
