Location and personnel are nice

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Cleanliness could be better. The carpet was not deep cleaned, just vacuumed. The mattress was quite old and uncomfortable. There is a very old and noisy air conditioner you can use to heat the room. unfortunately you can’t sleep with it turned on because of the terrible noise. Breakfast is only by cart during off-season and the options are quite poor.

I liked the location, far from the crowded part of Balchik, right next to the Palace and the sea. There are a lot of generous/large breakfast options and supplements. It was way better than see everybody fill up the plates and leaving a lot of food to be thrown away. I was happy to have limits on the quantity I eat, although each option was very generous. The BEST internet connection, I could work remotely, having online meetings. I highly recommend to travels needing to work remote. :) I am so grateful for this. The BEST hotel personnel. Our car battery was dead and a young lady at the receptions helped us using her own car, asking for help from her family at 5 a.m. Million thanks! They even prepared breakfast to go for us, leaving so early in the morning,

There is no beach, you have some sunchairs on a carpet you need to reserve at 5 o'clock in the morning. We went to the sauna and the temperature was 33 degrees, not working. The massage needs to be booked in advance, no empty slots for current day and the following day. The sink was not properly placed, cannot wash your hand under the water tap, all the water was outside the sink, please see the pictures.

It is a lovely hotel. The location is just perfect, close to Queen Maria's castle, in the most quiet part of Balchik. You can hear only the waves of the sea. The rooms are perfectly clean and beautifully decorated; they all have a sea view. The food is also great. The staff is very nice, always smiling and trying to offer you support. I do look forward to my next stay there, as my vacation was truly wonderful.

Room was big and very nice. Nice terrace, very good food, nice staff, overall a good hotel in the quiet area of Balchik, near the palace and very close to the sea.

There is no actual spa; there is only one pool with very cold water, in which nobody dares to swim. Breakfast was good but I personally prefer buffet.

Listening to the waves all night long (if there is no party or concert near the hotel)

The breakfast is not what we would expect for a 4 stars hotel. But you can skip it and just have lunch at their restaurant, that is very good.

A very nice hotel, with an outstanding view.

A little bit of attention on the ingredients of the breakfast would be a plus.
