nicely renovated guesthouse, good location in Swellendam, on walking distance from some good restaurants. spar is only 1 minute drive, too
the door of the room had a very simple lock, could get an upgrade. also, the breakfast 2options) was the same for two days in a row. a bit more choice would have been nice

Sheltered garden and pool were both very good .Breakfast was really nicely served by Cynthia and the food was very tasty .
Our room, number 10, did not have a window , which was very unpleasant as we had to leave the doors open to see anything .On one occasion a person walking along the main road called out to my wife who was sitting inside the room on her own whilst I was at the pool.

The Venue was clean and the view and pool was very nice
The room was very small for two people. The Bathroom is very small. There are no holders or hooks for the soap or facecloths in the shower. There is no cupboard to hang your clothes for a long stay or surface big enough to work on for two people for self-catering. The space for the towels in the bathroom is also only meant for one person. We stayed for 4 days and according to the staff we had the smallest room. If they knew the room was not meeting the standard, they should have not accepted our booking. It was a very uncomfortable stay and not worth the money at all.

Amazing place to stay with a wonderful manager Cynthia who made sure that I felt welcome from the first minute I arrived.
Exceptional bed linen, beautiful bathroom with a bath and shower and just an overall great experience. Will definitely stay there again.

noisy neighbours walking right past the room … not YOUR fault … we were lucky that it was actually half empty. not sure if it be relaxing in season. but then nothing would?!

It was advertised as bed and breakfast but we were told on arrival that breakfast was not included. Also the Wi-Fi did not work

Everything was exceptional, from staff, communication to comfotable stay.
Unfortunately, Eskom pulled the plug on us. We were without power from arrival at 6pm untill almost 10 pm.
Could not warm eats, no wi-fi, no fridge and no lightpower.

It is a lovely place and lovingly furnished rooms, everything very clean and well maintained. Located super central. Wonderful staff. Highliy recommended.

All the basics were there, spacious, good secure parking, nice hosts.
The breakfast - The fruit salad was brown, the mushrooms came from a can, and seemed to have been warmed up in the microwave. the potatoes were soggy. The coffee was very week instant coffee, and was served in a plunger coffee pot.

We arrived after check in and the staff were very helpful to get us into the gate and into our unit. They accommodated our late arrival well.

Cynthia and her team were super friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Good location if you're travelling on the garden route (not far away from the N2). Highly recommend!!

perfectly located in Swellendam. we had a beautiful room and bathroom, sparkling clean and well appointed. Cynthia is the manager on site and she was fabulous. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommended!!!
