the staff were super helpful and friendly
sometimes you could smell some hotpot from downstairs

Clean and nice vibe. In a country were most hotels look very similar to each other this one really has its own identity and feels more like something you would find somewhere else. Nice decorations and rooftop.
Breakfast is quite unique; they give a lot of small dishes; its not particularly filling though but fun to try.
Location is still a bit far from attractions and metro. Had to use taxi a lot to the metro station and nearby places.

They move me from the wide narrow alley outlet to the Chunxi Road outlet as the other outlet wasn't available due to maintainece. The ambience and the style of the hotel was what i like the most! The coffeeshop in the lobby was good and they provide quite a lot of choice for the breakfast. Had had a wrap one morning and a burger the next. Both of that were delicious!
The time for breakfast is a bit too short. Only two hours and they start breakfast at 7.30 which was quite late. Otherwise ok.

It was clean
they tried to charge one day more and other fees, the bathroom has no mirror (hard to shave) and the shower leaked water. Breakfast included service does not include coffee.

Staff are prompted to help and support patiently, even when the communication needs additional time using translation applications. Finally, licatiis is good 15min walking of Subway station and 20min walking to Wenshu Temple.
It's allowed to smoke anywhere, except I front of elevators on the 3rd floor. So the smell of cigarettes is inside of the hotel. My accommodation was on the 4th floor, which could I it cloudy of smoke permission. Fortunately, I could change to 3rd floor, a little better.

location
breakfast is awful - salty and slow.

The facilities are new, cozy and clean. The bed and pillows are very comfy. The breakfast is Chinese option and it is a good local culture experience.
The noise travels easily through the walls then you can hear the other guests walking, talking ,baby crying, the cleaning staff…
3.0
The location was good, in the city center
Bed was pretty comfortable, towels were changed daily
Kept luggage after check out for the whole day
Reception / Restaurant-bar is combined together, was very confusing to find
Cleaning definitely should be improved, hair from previous stay everywhere, including bathroom.
Very bad smell in the room, overall the room is very outdated
Very noisy outside, facing the main street
Bathroom was leaking
Staff could not advise on tourist attractions and did not seem to be interested much to communicate and help
Severe smoke smell in the bathroom near reception

The staff were super friendly and hotel is lovely. Only one slight problem with the breakfast on day one but it was rectified and I was given an alternative with a free cup of coffee. Think the chef needs to understand the difference between an omelet and a fried egg though, ha ha.
Noting to dislike.

Great location in a quiet, safe neighborhood (across the street from a school!) but central enough to tourist hotspots. Amenities were basic but great, really clean, comfortable beds and room layout, and it was relaxing to hang out on the roof deck.
The breakfast was to-go and basic, although not a big issue since we were up in and a hurry the next morning!

Cozy big rooms with nice interior. The rooftop terrace is very nice.
The staff is friendly. Good place to stay
Breakfast during the week is very easy, only a bag with milk, toast and fruit. But it was ok

The property is fine - hotel-hostel (top end) ambience, but all private rooms, clean, spacious and quiet, very secure
The staff make this - all of them are very polite and professional, even if speaking english was a challenge
I will stay here again!
Nothing. I felt very happy here

So much character and charm. We were very impressed with the spaciousness of our Traveller's Room (for myself, my husband, and our 10 year old daughter). The outdoor tables and the bar were lovely. We enjoyed the cocktails. Such a convenient location to wander around the area of KuanZhai alley. And there is a brand new hotpot restaurant just opened downstairs that was delicious. We used the tour guide company U2Panda recommended by the hotel and had two wonderful day trips. The brown paper bag packed breakfasts were nutritious and convenient. Be sure to let hotel staff know if you will be leaving on an early morning tour and require breakfast beforehand. In the weekends it may be tricky to eat before 8:00am since they have a delicious buffet rather than the takeaway bagged breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was beautiful and didn’t feel like I was in the city centre. It was really clean and comfortable. The location is good and there’s plenty of taxis and didis available all day nearby. The staff were wonderful and I ended up extending my stay by one more night. It’s about a 40 minute drive from the airport which is good. The restaurants nearby are excellent and I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu!

In sum it was okay, The staff is friendly, the location is great, the dishes are good.
It was not as expected. The pictures look better than the hotel - probably there was made years ago after the last renovation.

The hotel was much nicer than many we have stayed in within China. It is very modern and the interior is decorated very nicely. There is a lovely rooftop area with tables where you can have a coffee or a cocktail/drink from the bar at reception.
The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean.

Everything was great! The staff was super helpful and friendly, they helped with everything we needed. The room was simple, but nice and cozy. We just loved the balcony!
9.0
Location was very convenient and walkable; staff were helpful (spoke some English), simple but satisfying bagged breakfast, drinks/coffee available to purchase on-site, and well-appointed common spaces, especially the outdoor patio.
The room could use more storage/space to hang clothes.

The staff here are so helpful - they helped us to book bus tickets, arrange a trip to see the pandas and let us store our luggage for a few days. The room was really large and great value for money. We could get a takeaway breakfast when we left early in the morning. We stayed here on our return from Yading, as it was so great!
Nothing - the breakfast was okay.
8.3
Very good breakfast , rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Cleaning ladies are doing great job everyday. Hotel has a rooftop to grab a drink (until 8:30) and free washing machine.
Walls in the common areas and the rooms were dirty and could do with a touch of paint.
One of the reception ladies was VERY pushy upseling the extras while we were checking in (we must have stood there for an additional 25 mins politely declining all the extras - not ideal after 10h train journey!).
Breakfast is tasty but only starts at 8:00 am which is not very useful if you have an early start.
