Good location in a calm place, close to a public sandy beach, which was never crowded. It is a short walk (3 minutes) through a nice forest. On the beach you can rent sunbeds and an umbrella for 15 euro/day. Perfect location to watch the sunset.
At least 5 restaurants at the beach where you can eat.
Great sea view from the balcony if you live in one of the upper buildings.
Nice pool area. Books and games. Mini-bistro at lunch (delicious arancini)!
Perfect a/c during hot days. Free parking.
Good breakfast (recommendation: add fresh vegetables, please).
The hotel has a laundry room with washing machines, which is very useful when you travel.
Reception staff is never friendly.
Our double room was very simple, not enough place to put all the things, especially in the bathroom. Bed not very comfortable and loud, if you turn.
No shower head. Water only from above. So you can't wash your head only.
Be prepared that you need to climb a hill if you live in one of the upper buildings. There are small golf cars but not 24/7.
Reception works only until 20:00.
Always lots of bees and other insects (even a frog) in the swimming pool.
No shops in the neighborhood. You need a car to go everywhere.

Such a fabulous location! A two-minute walk from a gorgeous sandy beach plus great restaurants along the water. This was the perfect spot for a few days of relaxation. Book a beach chair for 15 euro and then hit the beach bar for some delicious snacks and drinks. Stroll along the beach and then hit the Michelin-recommended restaurant right on the beach. The hotel is gorgeous with a pool and great breakfast.

We loved our stay at Luna Minoica, the staff was so friendly, you can feel that they really enjoy working there and are a great team. Property is super well taken care of and it is right next to the beach, where you also have their and two other restaurants to enjoy. The breakfast was also great, with lots of sweets, cakes, and fresh fruit.
Since it is quite far from the closest shop, I would have enjoyed a tiny kichenete in the room. I think they offer those kind of rooms, we just ddnt book it. I would also add a little bit of decoration, some seaside items on the wall or something, so the room doesnt feel so empty. But besides this, everything was perfect.

Everything! It’s a beautiful oasis with everything you could want. A beautiful pool, as well as an amazing beach. Their restaurant on the beach is amazing! Their wine and olive oil out of this world! We will be back!!!!!

We loved the welcoming attitute of the owners, the cleaniness of the place and the location right near the beach. The next day we walked to Torre Salsa where we had the beach for ourselves. The room was large, clean and the breakfast the best we had in Sicily. Would come back any time again!

The location was pretty good. Near to beaches and restaurants. Could do some hiking as well. Staff were nice.
It was very loud at the pool due to families with kids. Also the breakfast wasn’t varied - pretty much the same every day. It was good, but basic.

Luna Minoica gave us a much-needed break on a three-week road trip round Sicily. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony and sea view. We loved the golf buggies on hand to give you a lift up to your room as temperatures and humidity were high during our stay. The pool was really inviting though we used the beach for our swims, just a short walk away. Breakfast was delicious, with good choices available. The staff were wonderful - so friendly and helpful. We wished we had booked a longer stay and would definitely return.
There is a restaurant that belongs to the hotel on the beach. It looked very good but we thought the prices were a bit high for us. There are other options close by.

Nice small hotel, only 50 meters away from a great beach area and on the edge of a nature reserve. Huge pool available as well, but best of all an amazing restaurant experience on the beach by Perbellini. Tasting menu very reasonably prices, great food, fantastic wines and one of the best spots to enjoy the sunset.
Most of the rooms and apartments have a large balcony and a great view. Unfortunately our room only had a small balcony, was on the small side (with a very large bathroom though) and no real view..

Excellent location right by the beach, good restaurants on the beach and excellent breakfast in the hotel. Lot's of private parking spaces. Supportive manager at the reception (we arrived late and the lady specifically waited for us).
Sunbeds came at extracost. It is our 3rd time in Luna Minoica and previously sunbeds were included. Maybe, because of the season. Everything else was perfect
