Key Biscayne is lovely and the Ritz is a beautiful hotel on a beautiful property. Customer service was amazing, food was delicious. The kids LOVED the pool (heated in the winter months!) and the beach. The room was great for our family of 5 and James (host) was very responsive anf helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We used the two rollaways and had plenty of space for two moms and tween daughters. James generously gave us an early check in. The ritz is great. Will be back!

Arrival: I booked a week in advance for a quick get away with the spouse. I reached out to the host by phone and left a voice mail several days before arrival to see if there were any instructions for check in and never heard back. Upon check in the hotel informed me they did not have my reservation and they could not help me. I called the host and left another voice mail however; the host did answer my text at that point. Even though I provided proof of payment and screen shots of the reservation I still had to argue with VRBO and host to prove I had a reservation. The whole ordeal took an hour or so. I was close to walking out and fighting the credit card charge when it was finally resolved. Stay: Its been a while since I have stayed at a Ritz and its obvious this is not a 5 star hotel or brand for that matter however; they are charging 5 star pricing for any incidentals. A 16 oz coffee is $9.00 and so on. By the way, its not like the coffee and other food we order was amazing--it was bland etc. I have not trouble paying $$$ for a great product. A bar tab of 4 drinks at the rum bar is $100+. Location: A leading factor for me choosing this location is because its low key and I wish Key Biscayne had a real 5 star option available. I will head to the Four Seasons or St Regis next time I am looking for a 5 star hotel. In the end I feel like this is a 3 star hotel charging 5 star pricing. The property and accommodations is not indicate of a 5 star stay.

It was wonderful and relaxing!

We just spent 2 nights here, at the end of a trip to the Keys. James was so helpful proactively, asking if we wanted an early check-in, and if we’d like the rollaway beds set up for our kids. The room was perfect for our family, and it was great to have a full kitchen! The location of the room gave us easy access to stairs and elevator, and was right down the hall from the teen/game rooms, which my children used a few times. The designated parking spot was also a nice plus. We will definitely look to stay in this room again in the future.

James as always is an absolute pleasure to work with! He has gone above and beyond for ALL our stays at this property. Clean and bright!!! Will continue to book with him! James appreciate ALL you do!!!!

Great time

The suite was spacious, clean and nicely decorated in a great location with easy access to two stairways and the elevator. The balcony was perfect for breakfast outside. James is a very gracious, responsive, accommodating and caring host! My family had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to return!

This was, by far, our favorite family vacation in a VRBO. The condo was large and comfortable with a full kitchen, washer dryer, and plenty of sleeping options. The room was updated and had a very comfortable pull out sofa for my kids. Our floor of the hotel was also fun because there was a game room and a teen room for my kids to run down the hall to. The hotel itself was beautiful and had very friendly staff. The location of the hotel was perfect, we walked to dinners every night throughout the town. We had lunch by the pool every day and the hotel food was delicious. We hope to do this trip every year!!

We stayed here for 4 nights. The place is very spacious and the owner is very attentive to answering questions or assisting you with what you need. The Ritz Carlton atmosphere can’t be beat! Would definitely reccomend!

Great unit with tons of space!

The property was as great as advertised . We loved that we had a small kitchen, eating area and living room with sofa bed along with king bedroom and large bath..

Great trip to the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne. James was in immediate contact when we had a small issue upon arrival and helped thereafter with inquiries. The unit was on the second floor with a partial limited ocean view however, it was perfect for us because we have two small children - the location was good because the small balcony had essentially no drop and we were able to circumvent elevators all together by using the central staircase. The resort felt a bit more corporate than I remembered and there were conferences occupying a lot of common spaces but I’m sure my boys bothered attendees far more than they bothered us!

Perfect space for a family. Crib and rollaway bed for my kids. Full kitchen and washer dryer made the the beach stay super easy with kids. Awesome and communicative host. Will definitely stay again!

The room was very nice and the property is beautiful. However the view is, bad. Your are on the second floor and The view is primarily of the the roof of the first floor. HVAC vents, etc. one day workmen were out there and were literally walking in front of our balcony. On another note, there wasn’t daily housekeeping and our trash piled up a bit. Also, The HVAC condensate was leaking a little on the carpet in the room as we left. We informed the front desk and I assume it was taken care of. So, in conclusion a very nice room, but if you are expecting to sit on a balcony with a nice view you might want to try another location.

We had a small issue at check in (was the hotels fault, not James, I don't believe) but James was helpful and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

We have stayed at the Ritz on Key Biscayne many times over the years and this was one of our favorite rooms. The set up worked well for a family of 4 and the host is very responsive.

This was by far, the coldest Miami Christmas that we’ve experienced in the last 5 years. This apartment was the best thing we did. The room looks more roomy in person and had everything we needed, and was plenty of room with kids. Lots of activities for the little ones. James could not have been more accommodating in working with us, check-in was seamless with easy access parking. This of course, is a beautiful beachfront property.

Lovely resort for a family getaway. The owner was great to work with. It was great to have a 2-room suite with a kitchen. We will be back!
