Spacious and comfortable apartment in very central location. Good directions for entry from host. Well equipped.

Some evening noise from street and local restaurants but that’s trade off to be very close to sites during day and restaurants at night.

Modern property right in the heart of York city centre! The location was great with a Tesco Express and Savers a few doors down, and plenty of shops and restaurants within 5-10 minute walk. The property was accessible with a lift to our floor and free parking space which made travelling with an 80 year old no trouble at all! We were also pleasantly surprised to have been provided with fans for each bedroom to keep us cool during the night as we stayed during a heatwave. Will most definitely be staying here on our next trip to York!

Right in the heart of the city walls. Easy access to the centre of York as soon as you step out of the front door. Very spacious apartment Nice touch of tea,coffee and milk on arrival, saved having to go looking for a shop. We could just relax as soon as we arrived. Excellent cafes and pubs within walking distance. Can recommend Cafe Luca for breakfast and the Cross Keys Pub at the end of the road for Tea.

Location ideal. Close to city centre and all attractions. Breakfast not included as was a self catering apt. but there was a cafe next door and local supermarket also on same block of shops.

Could have done with extra saucepans and frying pan, as only one of each available. instructions for sofa bed would be handy. we struggled at first to find it and had to work out how to put it up. otherwise everything was excellent

The location was excellent for sightseeing. It is relatively newly renovated and so things are ok.

The beds are small and lumpy. Combined with noise in the street it was very poor for sleeping. The common areas in the building don't appear to have been vacuumed or cleaned for a long time. There are no soap holders in the showers or hooks to hang gowns or towels. Not providing shampoo and body soap is an extraordinarily poor decision. The furniture is very cheap (Ikea) and in some cases nasty. Clearly, the owner/manager has never stayed in the place. One night would make a difference

The only positive aspect is the location

No hot water, the place was so hot we could not sleep properly. Dirty dishes were left behind. When mentioned, we did not receive an apology at first. The hot water was fixed the next day. Bare in mind it was not that hot when we stayed here. Opened the window to cool off the place but since it’s central location it was super loud. Will be definitely visiting York again and definitely avoiding this place. Never again

Difficult to locate back entrance to park. Not great communication from customer services on arrival when calling to see if we could use parking access before 3pm check in time.
