I would be lying if I were to say that there was something I didn't like. The place was exceptional. Everyone we met was friendly and made us feel so welcome.

No back up/UPS for load shedding for wifi connection.

Great location and awesome sea views. Our host, Mandi, went out of her way to sort out wifi issues after load shedding, will definitely stay again.

Beautiful apartment with sea view and right on the beach.

Attention to detail. Cleanliness, bulbs not working, no toiletries, no fan or aircon etc No braai facilities unfortunately as it is on 2nd floor and no general ones in resort. Key pick up was another location which was quite far. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are tiny.

The absolutely absurd, rigid rules regarding "being quiet" starting at 20h00. A family, playing 30 seconds and obviously laughing, which is very normal, was considered as being noisy and a disturbance. Worse....one is threatened with a fine of R3500, should a complaint be lodged against you. No swimming after 9😧 the small splash pool cannot accommodate many people, so some of us wanted to enjoy the pool during the evening. It is December holiday...festive season....must everyone quietly watch TV or read a book? We don't drink or party and we have never experienced such ridiculous rules elsewhere at very upmarket 5 star accomodation where everyone enjoyed themselves in a very decent manner... Some residents or tenants do not even greet! Maybe Summer Seas was meant to be a retirement village 😕The accomodation has a prime location but all the above-mentioned really spoilt our stay. .

nothing is promised as an offering was offered.. - Wi-Fi does work and they lie about it and promise it will be sorted the whole weekend - Cleaning fee is escalated - main bathroom ceiling is really dirty

Place was good, clean, comfortable.

The one security was a bit faulty, not friendly at all.

For the kind of money, one would expect at two services for the six nights, no extra blankets despite promise that this would be delivered on day two, not enough toilet paper, no changing of linen and towels for six nights.

We book at summerseas cause of the view.

We have been staying at summersears apartments every time we visit Port Elizabeth for over 5 years. This was the 1st time we booked at apartment 58. Our experiences were unpleasant. We did not have electricity in the afternoon and noticed we still did not have electricity only in our apartment after it got dark and other apartments had power. We called all the numbers possible to reach out and ask for assistance but no answer. We emailed on the email address mentioned on the information paper, but the email bounced back. We called the owners continuously in the evening,night and morning. Being in the dark, not able to eat, shower put on a heater as its winter in June in South Africa. The next day I called the owner at about 09:15 she answered informed me that she is at the races and trying to take a video and my call came through. She informed me that I would have to wait until 11am for her helpers to come and deliver the electricity or I could go by myself to get the pre paid electricity after I have paid in full for the accommodation. She also said I saw your calls but I was very busy. Eventually a Lady called Veronica came to deliver the electricity first she never knocked on the door just opened the door when I asked why she did that she told me she was not sure if there was people but then again why not knock first. So no Electricity for more than 10 hours even after paying in full before reaching the flat for vacation. We had to drive and buy breakfast cause we did not have electricity. When we arrived the apartment was beautiful but not clean at all. We cleaned the whole apartment on the day we arrived so we could continue to stay in a hygienic place. We found a ball under the bedroom bed, a name tag "Alice" and someone else's socks in the cupboard from the previous stay. The sofa: Needs cleaning when you sit for a long time something bites you. I only noticed it when i go a rash on my skin.

The kitchen is nice and well equiped.

Three bedrooms 2 toilets instead of the 3 bedrooms, three toilets they advertised. i called the host for 3 days without any response. The lounge suits are dirty

Carpets are filthy and never been vacuumed under the beds. No rubbish bags. No cloth to dry dishes. And not even a a little milk for arrival coffee.

The place is exactly as you see it on the pictures on the net, nothing misleading. Beautifully designed apartment, my family and I had a great time. Absolutely loved the main bedroom with the sea view. I am going to spread the word and definitely coming back to Summerseas 58. The security personal always a pleasure to deal with, super friendly staff. I booked the apartment to accommodate my family from Johannesburg to come attend my wedding, we had a really great time and wish we had stayed longer. Gosh, I could go on and on!!!
