Friendly very helpful staff. Very good facilities. Great restaurant, good location
Brighter lighting in the bedroom would have been helpful other than that the room was very good

Very good lovely staff
Every thing was very good

The staff work hard and are helpful both in the hotel and bar/restaurant. The food was good. There is a hotel car park.
The flat roof outside our room (Room 1) had very loud extractor fans and these were running all night. This meant we couldn't open the windows because of the noise (to let in fresh air - August).

This hotel was great, from friendly accommodating staff to comfy beds! The food was delicious, we were only disappointed we couldn’t eat there the second night due to family commitments after a baptism! Would stay again and recommend to anyone heading that direction.
The shower curtains, they get wet and sticky. This is personal opinion though on shower curtains in general!

Staff were very good, as was the quality of the food.
Rooms were looking a little dated, and lacked a few things which one would expect for this price, e.g. selection of hot drinks, no biscuits, no bottled water. Bathrooms in need of an update, and pillows were a bit on the hard side. The look of the hotel exterior could also be improved.

The breakfast was good and the receptionist in the morning was very nice, I didn't get her name. The location is good.
A disappointing stay! first, we were giving a room facing the main street, it was extremely noisy from about 6am onwards. We stayed on a Tues night, not very many people staying there, maybe think about giving the quiet rooms first, or at least asking the guest if they want a quiet room.
The staff at breakfast were grumpy and not very attentive. I asked one to fill up the orange jug which was empty and she said "I will when I get a chance" Then the staff proceeded to drag the chairs around to rearrange the tables - not exactly a relaxing breakfast atmosphere.
During my breakfast, I received a call from reception to tell me that I checked out without paying. We hadn't checked out at that time. I spoke with the receptionist, who by the way was very nice, she explained that they have a new booking system.
We then went up to the room to relax before checking out and someone just walks in without knocking and asked if we were checking out today. I said we were, she walked out without an apology or anything.
Also, the room was cold when we walked in. We turned on the heater but it takes some time to warm up the room. When we went for breakfast the next morning, we turned the heater on again to warm up the room for when we came back but then realised that the heater won't work if you remove the card from the slot.

Expensive, cold, and drab. Food poor.
Warmer, brighter, better value and food quality.

Good location in the centre of town, The Front bar and restaurant had a good menu and was good value. The service was good. The accessible bathroom was good.
the bedrooms and corridors could do with redecorating. Room servicing was ad hoc and disappointing

From the minute I walked in just felt totally at ease. Martina at the front desk a pleasure to deal with, a credit to the hotel. All the staff friendly and attentive though. Slap bang in the middle of town too, nowhere more than a couple of mins walk and free parking. Spot on....
The shower/shower curtain a bit iffy, other than that it was exactly what you would expect.
