good location

no staff present on arrival - felt like we were staying in a hotel. carpets and communal areas felt very tired. room smelt a bit damp. no parking

The location was at the edge of Old Town Heidelburg where you could walk to everything.

The heater in the bedroom did not work which made the room very cold (winter). The bathroom door handle was broken and when told to staff they went into the room, but didn't fix it (not try the handle just saw it was on and ignored even testing it), the bed sunk in the middle immediately from overuse. When we tried to buy a breakfast, we thought we bought it (price a lot higher than Booking.com price) but when we went to eat, we were told we didn't pay for breakfast but paid the actual price for the room (from $211 changed to $248). Since you had to have a test and both vaccinations or a booster in the city suddenly to eat luckily, we had purchased a dessert and kept it in the room from earlier otherwise, we wouldn't have had food the last day.

Everything, this was my worst hotel stay experience ( I have travelled around the world a lot) , however this place was like a ghost house, except me there was hardly anyone , reception open only until 11am, he was not at all friendly, a request for an extension for an hour to check out, despite the hotel being empty, was not allowed, ( I understand it is there discretion, but come on..), pls think before you book at this place

Very clean, near the local shopping area.

Hotel is located on an little walking alley off the main shopping walks. It was a hard to find at 2000. There was no staff after 2000. Guests were to enter the booking number in a locked box to retrieve their key. However, the box didn't work. Fortunately, a evening staff person came to check the place and let us in.

Nothing to be honest

Only book this hotel if you just want a bed. There are no facilities, no WIFI, No kettle, Coffee or fridge. THIS IS A NO THRILLS SLEEP ONLY kind of hotel. If you are tight for money this is ideal otherwise spend an extra £100 and get basic facilities included. Also they dont answer the phone until 5 times, and instructions are not clear. After 11am receptions closed and there is no help. So if you arrive after use your booking ref no and make sure you go to the right hotel.

Nothing bad about this hotel, the only thing we could have wanted was a room fridge, although this doesn’t appear to be common in Germany.

the breakfast was disaster, limited varieties and for such a money you can have a much better breakfast in the city center. It was very expensive and not worthy the value. They guy who cleans the rooms didn't add toilet papers although the paper holder was empty. not recommended if you have a baby trolley, you have to go many stairs up! no elevator!
