We loved every part and every minute we spent at the wineport Lodge

We could not find any faults with the lodge

Fabulous location on the shore of Lough Ree. Both the suites and double rooms have balconies overlooking the lake. Wonderful dining room and bar. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly

For a hotel of this quality and price, the food ought to be better. Lamb was dry, and hake was ok, but nothing special

The welcome was lovely, staff very friendly. Peaceful and a perfect stay. Room service was a treat too. Amazing views.

A little on the pricey side of things

Lovely scenery around the grounds, nice friendly staff and they were very polite. The Hot tub definately a must do, when visiting, highly recommend it! Food was very good also.

Looking forward to the pool in spa been finished wasnt finished when we were there.

We were given a warm welcome on arrival followed by a complimentary drink. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, food was excellent. Can't wait to go back when the infinity pool is ready to use.

Overpriced accommodation

From the moment we walked in the staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us.

Breakfast was lovely and staff very pleasant and professional . Beds extremely comfortable . Dinner on both nights was delicious .

We were there for a family get together. While some members of the group had a wonderful experience from start to finish , unfortunately me and my sister had a bad experience in our suite. There was building work - mini diggers hammers and machinery right outside our patio door both mornings really early 7.30 to 7.45 and I was NOT advised that this would be the case . My email stated that work was going to finish in September 2021 . This did not manage my expectations of a nice relaxing weekend. If I had known Of the extensive work - and it is extensive, I would not have booked . I did complain on the first morning and was told that I would be “looked after” . However the work continued and the second morning same story only half an hour later . I feel the premises did nothing to rectify the situation . When I checked out no concession was given. I was subsequently very annoyed to note when I returned home that they were advertising a ”men at work “rate for half of what I had paid. I received no concession for the inconvenience so I am quite annoyed . I once again complained when I was checking out but To date I have heard nothing from the Wineport lodge and it is nearly a week since my visit . Dissppointing .
