Breakfast was excellent - it was brought to your room if you wanted for no extra charge. Dinner Menu was good as well.

This hotel is an absolute haven of tranquility from the moment you step foot inside the door you cannot help but get lost in its ambiance the first such sensation being the immediate smell of a log fire then the location is simply wonderful with differing views of the lake at every turn, in store is the sublime pleasure of the amazing food from lunch or afternoon tea to amazing dinner. The breakfast is full table service and an absolute treat. The staff are without exception a pure joy to deal with . Overall a most wonderful place.

EVERYTHING
Our stay was fabulous from start to finish.
The highlight had to be the Ourdoor Hot tubs.
Rhian who attended them was an absolute gentleman. I could not say 1 negative thing about the staff or service.
We made great use of the facilities available including the Spa. Everything ticked the boxes.
The only 1 thing was that we found the windows were letting in a slight draught.
However with great heating in the room this wasn't a problem.

The location was amazing right on the lake with fantastic views
The staff very friendly and attentive.
The food was lovely however I did expect an a la carte option in the restaurant. Very similar menu to bar food menu however very tasty.
The room (102) is very small and cramped. Too much furniture for the tiny space. Could not move in the room. Very disappointing by the room as when booking the room looked much bigger and spacious. Bed was comfortable and the view was nice. Would be more appealing if the view was uninterrupted by the hot tub area.

We loved the facilities and decor of the hotel. The food was incredible but I do feel it was overpriced.
The quality of the food was incredible but I'D have liked more flatbread with the grazing board and a bigger side should come with the €44 fillet Steak.

Did not have breakfast. Location was good.
It was a long way from parking lot to room. Two workers were idle and were available to help with luggage. Instead they just stood there and laughed. A little more attention to detail would have made the experience excellent.

Fabulous location on the shore of Lough Ree. Both the suites and double rooms have balconies overlooking the lake. Wonderful dining room and bar. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly
For a hotel of this quality and price, the food ought to be better. Lamb was dry, and hake was ok, but nothing special

Lovely scenery around the grounds, nice friendly staff and they were very polite. The Hot tub definately a must do, when visiting, highly recommend it! Food was very good also.
Looking forward to the pool in spa been finished wasnt finished when we were there.

We were given a warm welcome on arrival followed by a complimentary drink. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, food was excellent. Can't wait to go back when the infinity pool is ready to use.

Breakfast was lovely and staff very pleasant and professional . Beds extremely comfortable . Dinner on both nights was delicious .
We were there for a family get together. While some members of the group had a wonderful experience from start to finish , unfortunately me and my sister had a bad experience in our suite. There was building work - mini diggers hammers and machinery right outside our patio door both mornings really early 7.30 to 7.45 and I was NOT advised that this would be the case . My email stated that work was going to finish in September 2021 . This did not manage my expectations of a nice relaxing weekend. If I had known Of the extensive work - and it is extensive, I would not have booked . I did complain on the first morning and was told that I would be “looked after” . However the work continued and the second morning same story only half an hour later . I feel the premises did nothing to rectify the situation . When I checked out no concession was given. I was subsequently very annoyed to note when I returned home that they were advertising a ”men at work “rate for half of what I had paid. I received no concession for the inconvenience so I am quite annoyed . I once again complained when I was checking out but To date I have heard nothing from the Wineport lodge and it is nearly a week since my visit . Dissppointing .

The enthusiastic reception you get when arrive . The tasty little drink we got on arrival. The beautiful lodge itself . Our room was gorgeous 😍 The staff were amazing Happy and full of personality.
The only thing I didn't like was part of my dinner the duck it was far too rare for me. Everything else delicious 😋
