perfect location, relaxed atmosphere, great staff

Oh my gosh we loved our weeks stay here and it was sad to leave. I will definitely come back! 10/10 The room was spacious & clean. Good sized fridge. The restaurant was fantastic - great affordable food and the passionfruit soda was exceptional. It's right on the water. It's always calm and shallow and I spent hours just floating. Good snorkelling and paddleboarding. It was perfect. Beautiful sunsets! A quiet, super relaxing location. There is parking available so no having to navigate steep hills or stairs which I was happy about. The staff were wonderful and made everyone feel comfortable. Honestly cannot wait til I have the chance to come back to Haad Salad Villa - I won't even consider staying anywhere else!

The only thing was the toilet getting wet from the shower and having to use a towel to dry it after every shower. But this is totally not a big deal. Oh, lots of mosquito's in the early evening, so repellent is a must bring.

Beach is really nice, warm water, no waves, some shades near the restaurant and they don't charge it. The hotel is distant from the pier, but it was better to stay in a calmer place by the beach. The staff is nice, they helped us with info and to schedule a taxi/tour.

The restaurant service is very bad. It takes a long time to get your food. At breakfast, I order a cappuccino two days and they brought a caffe latte. One day I ordered a burger and they served it with different ingredients. The Hotel is very unorganized, they take the orders by writing them down on a small piece of paper, and in the end, they sum up everything in their head without a calculator. We did laundry and they forgot some clothes, we had to ask them and describe what was missing. One day there was a big cockroach in the room. Btw, they only clean the room every 2 or 3 days.

Great chilled place, runs by locals. Basic rooms, beautiful garden and great location. Restaurant is very good and in reasonable prices. Would come back for sure!

The room is spacious and clean. A.c works well. Beach is clean and quiet. Room service every third day but you shoul remind them lol. Cheap laundry service. Free water refill and bananas. Nice live music in the evening. Area is very quiet and in short walking distance you can find very cheap and good food, better than close to the beach where food is not the best and prices are higher.

Bungalows are almost directly on the lovely tranquil beach, basic but sufficient rooms - good helpful staff at bar and restaurant - no complaints, everything as discribed

Not hotels fault but the beach was too quiet and family based for us, the next beach down koh Yao has more going on music wise and an overall funkier vibe

The staff was excellent, very friendly and easy-going. The amenities were great, and so was the entertainment in the evening. The location of the place is in the middle of Haad Salad, which is ideal.

The restaurant was ok, but not the best. The portions and the variety lacked a tiny bit compared to the competition. Mind you, we had such a great time and this is just a minor detail.

Right on the beach, this place is perfect. We miss it already! Thanks to all the lovely staff who work there, including Raymond who provides live music a few nights a week!

The shower/bathroom setup is a little hostel like, which is fine for a short stay.

The staff was not welcoming at all and unprofessionel in any way. It started with our arrival: Check-in time starts from 1 pm. We arrived at 1:20 pm. They told us to wait for 30 min. Long story short: We checked in at 4:15 pm!!!! The day was lost. The bungalow was ok but there was a lot of dirt underneath the bed. The staff in the restaurant area is not service oriented. For example: They often don‘t know what to do, they forget orders and they smoke during taking the order.

Perfect location the beach is right outside your hut and it was lovely to wake up to the sounds of the waves. Staff were so friendly all the time and most tried to speak English and understand you. Food at the restaurant was amazing, we had BBQ fish both nights and it was delicious such good value for money- the jacket potato cooked on the BBQ was the best I have ever tasted!! It was a beautiful setting sitting on the beach having dinner and again in the morning. They put on a fire show when the weather was nice in the evening which was a lovely bonus. Helpful with organising our transport back to the pier.

Bed was very hard, couldn’t get comfortable which was a shame. Walls are quite thin so you can hear people talking outside which wasn’t ideal when we had noisy neighbours! Water from the shower went everywhere in the bathroom as there is no shower curtain so everything got wet!

Super lovely! Really great sized bungalows, very clean. Perfect location - right by the beach. Best thing about the property are the staff who are so helpful and friendly. We ate here for all our meals and the food was always delicious.

Our stay was awesome. Due to the long term stay, we were offered the taxi ride from the pier to the accommodation and vice versa for free. The lovely Thai lady in charge was very helpful with setting up the transfer to Koh Tao, laundry and setting up a motorbike. Bed was comfy, small kitchenette was enough with fridge, large cabinet with hangers, a hammock to chill out in on the patio. Staff was very nice and helpful at the restaurant, and the restaurant is right at the best beach on the west side of Koh Phangan.

Nothing, except for the mosquitos during the low season. Bring mosquito repellent and/or coils.

We have been staying at Haad Salad Villa since 2014 and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Great staff, lovely wooden bungalow with a verandah and a beach front restaurant.

The bungalow was very nice, well equipped and looked better and more modern than on the pictures. Picturesque beach with restaurant, massage options - just steps away. AC worked great.

The sea is very shallow at this stretch of the beach - mind that a refreshing swim will be difficult here. no bikes for rent at the place (despite the previous confirmation) - there is a good place up the street though. food in the restaurant is decent but nothing special.

Nice Room (with huge fridge!), comfy bed, powerful AC. The Bathroom is a bit basic, but functional and clean. Beautiful jungle garden. The staff is fantastic, everyone is just helpful and friendly, from Taxi service (avoiding the Phangan Taxi Mafia, these are charging you for 10kms 4 pax similar to a full day in the meter-taxi in Bangkok. Always try to arrange pier pickup with your accomodation!) to sightseeing ideas and transport offers ("No need for a Taxi, we are going that direction anyway, just hop in."). 11/10 points here! Calm and sandy beach, several restaurants and bars nearby, never crowded.

Location is quite off the grid, only one small shop with limited choice and bold prices within walking distance, you need a scooter (in this area of phangan better make sure it´s not your first scooter experience...) or have to go by taxi. Swimming at the beach requires walking across the shallow bay to the reef edge, make sure you bring water shoes! The snorkeling out there is ok.

super friendly Thai family owners and the beach Is literally 30 seconds and walk away it is also quiet and the restaurant is very reasonably priced all the staff were happy to help with any problems that I had I highly highly recommend this place don’t go to a fancy French run resort support the local ties

nothing! it was amazing! but please buy those rubber shoes as there are sharp rocks in the sea also sea urchins. be careful 🙏🏻
