The accommodation was compact but perfectly positioned, just under the First cable car. Margrit was a very kind and knowledgeable local lady who was always available to provide help and advice. We loved siting on the balcony eating and drinking under the north face of the Eiger, something you just can't beat.

The kitchen had lots of pots and pans; ideal for cooking. The balcony was amazing- it was great to have a breakfast and look at the views of Eiger. The place was really clean, we appreciated that a lot.

Minor stuff but considering how amazing the kitchen was, it would be great if cooking was made slightly easier with more solid knives (heavier chopping knives) and maybe with basic seasoning (salt, oil etc) but I’m just being picky here. It is worth noting that there is no washing machine (in case you are staying for longer).

This is a small detached house only for us, with a garage underneath. Terrace with a view of Eiger, at the entrance is a small garden with seating. The location next to the Firstbahn station, grocery stores are not far away either. The owner is very nice. A very cozy place. I would only refresh the living room and the bedroom so that they are more modern like the kitchen and bathroom ... but without that we were also very happy to stay.
