Notre chalet entièrement équipé est à 15 minutes à pied du centre-ville ou à 5 minutes en voiture, où il y a une bonne sélection de cafés et de restaurants. Les perspectives sont magnifiques avec de superbes vues sur les montagnes. Il y a beaucoup de choses à faire à partir de cet endroit, y compris de grands lacs pour la navigation de plaisance et la natation, la pêche et le ski sur neige. Nous sommes à 40 minutes en voiture du mont Cook où il y a de fabuleuses promenades et de superbes paysages. Pendant que vous êtes ici, vous pouvez faire du vélo, marcher, faire un tour en hélicoptère ou en ski-avion. C'est un grand terrain de jeu pour toute la famille.

Margaret greeted us and gave us a great quick tour of the cottage and facilities, and had very kindly got the heating going ahead of our arrival. The cottage itself was very room, extremely clean and comfortable and I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely little cottage in a great location of Twizel. The log burner with extra advantage of running the heat pump meant our stay was nice a warm even in the middle of winter.
It was nice to know the hosts were nearby but also kept to ourselves. Kitchen had everything we needed, would have been nice to have a few extras that are sometimes left behind in bachs but the tea and coffee was a nice touch.

The photos didn’t do this property justice.
The cottage was really clean and well stocked and very quiet which was a priority for me.
The hosts were very friendly as well.
We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this accommodation.

A wonderful, quiet retreat
Gladstone House was a delight. It is well furnished and the fire keeps you warm. I loved the wee veranda at the front to sit out and enjoy the last rays of the sun. The owners were very kind, welcoming and helpful. I loved the peace and the space around the cottage and the tranquility it offered. I'll be back!

We loved staying at Gladstone cottage it was warm, clean and perfect setting for us stopping over on our travels to Christchurch.

Wonderful Cottage
The cottage was perfect for our needs. The hosts added some lovely touches providing everything that we would need. They met us and showed us around which meant that we could work everything in the cottage. Perfect location for enjoying the scenery and night sky.

A lovely place for a wee retreat
This cottage is magic and in a gorgeous setting. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Twizel is an excellent base for fishing, skiing, and enjoying all the Mt Cook/Aoraki region has to offer. highly recommended.

Cottage is very clean and very well equipped. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.
We only stayed one night coming from Wanaka and before heading back to Christchurch. We arrived early evening and were greeted by the owners. We barbecued our meat and cooked our veggies in their well-equipped kitchen. Our stay was very comfortable and a great base for going to see Mt. Cook.

Wifi signal is very weak. Firewood burns out so get cold during the night unless you keep waking up to put in the firewood before it runs out as there's no heatpump.
