Location was excellent and central for all we wanted to do on our holiday. It was like home from home. We loved it and would recommend to friends.

Keys in keybox but was given the wrong code. Had difficulty contacting host but did eventually get through and told the correct code over the phone. Also there was 8 Reed diffusers in the property which was over powering.

Excellent cottage in a fantastic town everything you need in the cottage and on your doorstep.

Bed far too low and uncomfortable and very poor pillows. Shower would hardly drain first time we used it my wife had to clean a load of hair and dirt out of the shower trap so that it drained properly.

The location was perfect for walking into the center for shops, meals, bars, etc. It was also quiet with little traffic noise. It was also easy to walk to Alnwick Castle and Gardens which were places we particularly wanted to see so was nice to leave the car at the accommodation. The property was spacious and comfortable, especially the beds, which a number of guests had mentioned in the visitor book. It was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped if guests wanted to eat in.

There were a couple of things that would have made the stay a little better. Whilst towels are provided there was no bath mat and the bathroom floor can get a bit wet. We used a spare towel to avoid a problem. Also the second twin bedroom has no dressing table and as were were a party of three the person in this room had to sit on the floor to do hair and make up using a bedside locker.

Location was fabulous. Within walking distance of lots of things.

Could have done with a small side table in the lounge

Excellent location, just minutes from the town centre and main attractions of Alnwick. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and plenty of cooking equipment, crockery etc. There was a very helpful little pack of cleaning cloths, dishwasher tablets etc. Welcome pack was an unexpected and very pleasant surprise and even better to see some Fairtrade products in there. Alnwick made a very good centre for exploring the area.

The bed was a little low and soft for us, and the lounge seats were also low but that's personal preference. One or two more small bin liners would have been welcome. The entrance to Jubilee court is a fairly narrow archway which could be a problem for people with a big car.

The house was short of nothing - two very spacious bedrooms - very comfortable lounge.

No communication from the hosts prior to arrival, had to chase up the information. Heating had been left switched off at the boiler making the house very uncomfortable for the first night as it was snowing outside
