Charming area in Cotswolds

Clean, tidy, well-equipped, central location

Great location; central to all we wanted to see and great pub just down the road for food. owners very pleasant, lovely cake left for us. Lovely little cottage overall thank you

Tv - connections were terrible, first night had to reboot to get sound, second night has to spend about half an hour signing in and retrying to get connections, third night all we’d done previous night didn’t work and couldn’t change the live channel so watched Match of the day…! I think a new smart tv would be justified, apart from that (which I appreciate isn’t the end of the world) was good - just frustrating when you e for kids.

Good location to explore the Cotswolds. Excellent cottage for a group or family of 4. Everything you would need for a stay and kitchen very well equipped. Nice home made cake on arrival. Highly recommended.

The only small criticism I would level is at the local pub. Good food and friendly, but a difficult place to drop in and just have a drink. Seems to be that all tables are reserved/potentially reserved for diners. We did get lucky one night and were able to have drinks at an unoccupied table. Plenty of outside tables so only and issue in Winter/bad weather.

The cottage is in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. It has all the facilities which are needed but is uncluttered. The welcome pack, including milk and homemade cake, was tremendous and just what you need after a long drive. The location is excellent and Long Compton itself is a very pleasant village. The owners left a comprehensive set of information and instructions, including maps of good local walks. The local pub is good and friendly.

We could have done with a set of simple instructions for how to use the FreeSat box - otherwise, we liked everything.

Excellent location, great little cottage with all facilities you could need, and as a bonus great helpful hosts who communicate really well. The local guide that is provided is great for ideas for things to see/do in the area if you don't already have plans.

Honestly nothing, experience was great.
