The right turn onto Blackburn Road on departure can be an adventure.

while the facilities are old and dated the suite was comfortable and the bed had the best pillows I can remember. made sleeping very easy. I knew what to expect so I was not disappointed.

The hotel is very conveniently located next to a shopping centre with a good choice of eating options.
The after hours check in process was good with excellent and friendly communication with the hotel.
The only minor downside was that the carpet in the room needs cleaning or replacing. Still a very comfortable stay.

Staff friendly and helpful when contacted about issues with room.
Onsite restaurant closed so no breakfast or dinner option onsite - I did not see any indication of this when booking, only a sign on arrival at motel.
Room amenities included microwave - none in room on arrival and had to call the motel to ask for one the next day.
Could not access internet during stay - only succeeded for a period of half on hour one morning of stay.
Reception un-staffed after 7pm on arrival (so couldn't follow up issues re microwave and internet until next day).

Found it frustrating when expecting to have a breakfast buffet for $20 (as it was on the website) and when asked the staff member for the breakfast, she told me they don't have a breakfast but she would happily put a toaster in my bedroom. This is not a breakfast!
