The location was excellent

The kitchen cupboards and pantry were VERY old, dirty, and not in a fit state to be rented out. They haven't been updated in 50 years, the contact lining is faded and curling up the edges revealing chipped particle board. The little attempt to hold the contact down is made with grey duct tape. The contents of the kitchen cupboards and drawers have clearly been owned for many, many years. Also, the drier didn't work, the DVD only operated on 'Play' and the upstairs (main) shower head didn't work properly. I've spoken with agent who has listened to my concerns but I belive the owner isn't willing to fix the problem or refund some of our $$.

House is in urgent need of maintenance and tender loving care. Very dated.

TV down stairs didnt work and there was water leaking down stairs when using the upstairs shower We just used our own laptop for entertainment and kept the using the downstairs shower as much as possible Photos were also a tad misleading and the bins were already so full from previous stays we had to take our rubbish home with us and discard of it properly I also had lots of issues with the vaccum cleaner as it's so broken and taped together it was super difficult to maintain/ clean the floor during our stay

The location

No hot water for two nights, no toilet paper on arrival. Shower head was broken meaning you had to hold it the whole time in the shower. Blankets on bed dirty and the whole house smelt strongly of moth balls.
