El desayuno y la atención
Las almohadas y la cama era bastante dura

El personal muy amable y el desayuno bien servido. La ubicación es genial bien en el centro
En el baño hacía mucho calor ya que no tenía ventana pero no impidió una buena estancia

the property is ok. the staff are the best, very friendly and attentive. the breakfast is delicious. the beds are ok.
consider you may need to climb 2 floors of stairs. you can listen to the party until 1-2 am like if it was inside your room, beware light sleepers. some bathroom doors do not completely close.

Amazing! Due to some last minute changes of plan, we needed somewhere central and affordable to stay at very short notice, which we anticipated to be difficult in the run-up to carnival. Thankfully, Pousada Cor e Arte had a private room available, and we were endlessly thankful from the moment we arrived. The staff are capable and friendly, dealing with every detail with efficiency and compassion - from some personal problems that we encountered during our stay to sprucing up our bathroom partway through our stay, cooking our eggs to order and accommodating a friend who arrived a couple of days later than us. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable and welcome. Our room was spotless and functional - complete with air con (a lifesaver not to be taken for granted in Salvador!) and our shower was powerful, with the option of warm water should we have wanted it. The location is fantastically central, adjacent to the beautiful blue Igreja da Ordem Terceira de Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos. A personal favourite was the ability to people-watch from the beautiful French doors of the breakfast room, which overlooks a bustling square so typical of Pelourinho. Breakfast itself was a bonus that we hadn't even anticipated, but started our days off wonderfully. All in all, we're really impressed - this place does exactly the job that it needs to, and is great value for money. Thank you again for making our stay in Pelourinho feel so easy!
As a vegetarian I would have liked to see one or two more meat-free options on the breakfast buffet, but I appreciate that I am of a very small minority here in Salvador!

The accommodation is in a prime location so very convenient for exploring the city. The stuff was really nice and helpful.
Sadly the room was too noisy all through the night, with parties going on till 4am outside. It's not an ideal stay for someone who doesn't stay up till early hrs of the morning. I hardly managed to get any sleep there.

location is great.
staff could be better prepared, they don’t offer any explanations on hotel unless if asked, and even when asked they don’t have the answers.

Excellent location and helpful staff
It’s very basic and more expensive than another “pousadas” that offer much better options for the same price

the location and the good internet and airco and good breakfast
the rooms are very bare, the bathroom tiny and stinky (drain) and the mattresses hard as a rock

Very good location, historic art building.
Excellent breakfast, tailored option, the breakfast personal very nice.
Extremely noisy area, locals, loud music from the bars near. The window a very old style, not closing properly.

great location in the centre
the toilet had a very bad smell which couldn't be fixed by the staff because of an issue with the sewers, also very very noisy during the night and we had to have our windows open because of the smell. Beds are really hard and not a great sheet.

Location.
Extremely noisy outside as there was no glass or any kind of isolation, just the shutters. We basically didn't sleep at night till 3am when the parties in the street stopped. Very small beds for a couple.

Location is good.
1. Mosquitos. The windows have gaps. There were a lot of mosquitos and even a lizard in the room.
2. Noise. It was Monday but some club had loud music till 1 a.m. Very, very loud music. And windows made noise because of the wind all the night.
3. The hotel provided only 1 sheet and no blankets. We had to pay extra 18 Brazilian Reals to use 1 blanket. This is outrageous.
4. Aircon. We took a room. It was hot. We turned the Aircon on and went for a walk. When we returned, our aircon was dripping on the bed and the floor. Our clothes got wet. They gave us another room. Another room also had mosquitos, and aircon aiming right to the bed.
5. Breakfast. It is from 8 till 10. It would be better if it started at 7. When we came to breakfast early, there were few people but no clean table. We called for the lady. She cleaned the table. She didn't offer us anything. Only pointed to the self-service area. We saw that guests were eating scrambled eggs. And we asked for it and she brought it. They don't care about meals and drinks running out. You have to ask for everything: cheese, water, coffee. I don't inderstand it. There were not so many people at breakfast but everything was running out. You have to rush to get your meal.

i loved the location, right next to the famous ‘Blue Church. it was a really busy, but interesting neighborhood. The hotel itself was an interesting old hotel, was comfortable, and great value for money. Breakfast (for me) were very adequate and again set in a very large and interesting room. There r so many bars and restaurants only a 5 minute walk away as well as many things of historic interest.
I have no complaints about this property.

Friendly stuff
It’s very noisy. The hotel is in one of the main squares in the city center. There are many bars and restaurants around. You can hear the music and the drunk people all night.

Breakfast modest but good, Jô from the staff was very friendly. At least the air con works.
Old room with a bad smell, bathroom much small (you can barely move), a lot of stairs ( if you have luggage it's very exhaustive to put it on your room), no lift, ugly views from the windows. Dangerous neighborhood at night (there was a police car on the corner), it's near to Pelourinho but doesn't worth the risk.
