Went to Killarney races for a couple of days. Abbey Lodge location was excellent, we could have walked to races if we so choose. Parked our car after races and walked the very short distance into the town. Bedroom and cleanliness were excellent.

Warm welcome from staff, clean cosy and large size room which was quiet and the best breakfast I've had so far in Ireland. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Location was very central which was fabulous.
Room was large and shower really good.

Although tea and coffee provided downstairs we would have liked to have coffee making facilities in the room.

Close to town centre, clean and comfortable. Although it was on main road it is set back and quiet at night. Close to very good pubs, restaurants and concert venue. Great base for sightseeing in Killarney National Park.
On the room only basis for 4 nights I did expect room bins and towels checked. It did not spoil our holiday but it would have been nice for the bins to be emptied.

The cleanliness and comfort of our room exceeded our expectations. The room was well-maintained and the bed was really comfortable. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome and their cheerful demeanor made a lasting impression.
