Kentfield Haven - Adorable and Cozy Studio
Ce studio confortable est entouré de séquoias et d'un jardin en terrasse pavé. Très léger avec une cuisine complète comprenant une cuisinière à gaz, micro-ondes, grille-pain, mixeur, bouilloire électrique, réfrigérateur. Lit queen très confortable. Nous venons d'installer un joli tapis en laine mérinos et l'unité est nouvellement peinte. Il est situé à distance de marche d'une grande épicerie, College of Marin et il y a de nombreux restaurants merveilleux à proximité. Le jardin est le vôtre à utiliser à votre guise; entouré de séquoias et une vue sur le mont Tam. Il y a des pistes cyclables et des sentiers de randonnée à proximité, un cinéma et le Marin Art and Garden Centre. À seulement 5 minutes de l'autoroute et à 20 minutes du Golden Gate Bridge, et généralement de 10 à 20 degrés plus chauds que San Francisco, Sausalito et Mill Valley. Si vous voulez rester dans la Bay Area et éviter le brouillard, c'est l'endroit idéal, surtout si vous êtes intéressé à explorer Napa, Sonoma et les zones côtières comme Stinson Beach et Point Reyes.

A haven, indeed, for a ten-day working vacation.
The studio is quiet, calming, with sunlight filtered through two majestic redwoods just beyond the window panes. An ideal work environment for a writer.
Although the kitchen is small -- perhaps the coziest aspect of the studio -- it's especially well-equipped: a toaster, coffee brewer, microwave, and a Vitamix blender.
Comfortable bed; terrific shower.
But perhaps most importantly, France is a welcoming, gracious, thoughtful host.

This is a small apartment with everything anyone could want in a charming package. It is set in a lovely garden that the gracious host encourages her guests to enjoy. There is a kitchen, a good shower, a desk, comfortable chairs for relaxing and, very important, a good bed. I’m looking forward to my return.

I needed a place to stay in the Marin area while I was in-between jobs. France's studio was perfect. Centrally located between all the little towns in Marin. While easy access to Sir Francis Drake Blvd, the location has a feel of being in the woods. I especially loved all the redwood woods outside the studio. The area is quiet, relaxing and the host, France, was there to answer any and all questions.

The moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The roomy studio was super-clean, well laid-out, and had all the comforts of home. France was very responsive and hospitable. We come to Marin fairly often, and this will be our new home-from-home.

We really enjoyed our extended stay at France’s studio. The garden setting is beautiful, and the studio itself is well appointed- even a little larger than we had anticipated. Everything was very clean and scent free, and the sheets were so soft! The kitchen is small as would be expected in a studio, but we were still able to cook full meals for ourselves. France was very gracious, and a considerate upstairs neighbor. There are many beautiful places to walk within a few minutes drives, too!

I had a great stay here. The location is convenient. The property has everything I needed with convenient parking. Easy to get on the highway and enjoy Marin County or a trip to San Francisco or a visit to wine country. The host, France, is available and pleasant to interact with.

Lovely place in a great location and France was an attentive and gracious host. The studio was clean and the bed comfortable. I stayed here while work was being done at my own house nearby, and with a refrigerator, stove and microwave, I appreciated being able to cook most of my meals at "home".
As someone with chemical sensitivities, I especially appreciated that all bedding and towels are washed "fragrance free" and that all guests who do laundry are required to use only non-scented products. (It sure would be nice if ALL vacation rentals could accommodate people who can't tolerate fragrances, have allergies, or simply dislike reeking of perfumes/chemicals.

The Bay Area has changed so much, it was nice to stay in a place that reminded me of Marin County as it was when I lived there in the 70's and 80's. -- inhabited by redwood trees and nature-loving people.

The space was clean and cozy, and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. France was very responsive and helpful to all my questions. My only issue is that there were a fair amount of bugs that flew in through the window, as there were no screens. Otherwise, highly recommend!!

Beautiful property, very responsive host, and an incredible landscape. We used the place mostly as a crash pad, but it was lovely to have a comfortable, quiet place to rest and have our morning coffee.

We stayed in France’s studio for 3 weeks. It was conveniently located for us and also provided us the opportunity to explore Kentfield, Ross, Anselmo, etc.
Studio was very comfortable and provided all the essentials we needed. France was responsive to our requests during our stay and provided insights on what to do nearby.
This apartment was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. The massive redwood outside our windows was great to wake up to. We plan to stay here again soon. And she has a fun dog named Boe.

Lovely studio in a gorgeous setting
Truly enjoyed my stay! Great location, walkable to restaurants and grocery shopping, public transportation. Comfortable, cozy and very clean. The redwoods are stunning, as is the view of Mt. Tam. The host was wonderful! Will stay here again.

Cozy Kentfield Studio
I stayed 16 days in this small and lovely studio visiting friends, enjoying the area, local restaurants and shops and San Francisco easily accessible. France was very welcoming and the studio was very clean and well equiped. I will definately love to go back.

Peaceful off-street garden location nestled amidst the trees. Thoughtfully stocked with everything from device charger to oversized coffee mugs. Spotless kitchen especially the microwave and refrigerator.

The neighborhood is very quiet, and the lot is private with some cute outdoor spaces. The unit is vintage but is in good condition and quite functional.

Heat wave
Cute unit in good location ... easy access to Sausalito and surrounding areas. Was a heat wave when we were there ... high 80s/low 90s ... no a/c in unit. There was a fan, but just not comfortable. Opening windows would have helped, but no screen in windows so if we left any open, lots of bugs would fly in and that was no good. Also ... didn’t appreciate the people moving furniture outside stopping outside our bedroom window for a long chat (got pictures) ... just off putting ... wish they would have either gone back inside or gone further down stairs ... having to watch them chat while I was lying in bed was annoying.

Impeccably clean and nicely appointed. Well equipped kitchenette and clean, comfortable bathroom with shower. Giant closest with plenty of space for hanging clothes. Most of all the owner, France, could not be a more lovely, thoughtful or generous hostess. You will love your stay here, as I did.

Perfect location, wonderful host
Thank you France for accommodating our needs and providing everything we wanted. We were able to visit Point Bonita Lighthouse, Muir Woods, and Point Reyes Nat'l Seashore, as well as a local wooded lake area.

This was the perfect property for us.
A lovely studio flat, well equipped, cosy but spacious enough, a charming and helpful owner and for us set in just the area we needed to give us access to all our friends and family who live in Marin, Napa and San Francisco. Absolutely perfect.
We stayed for 16 nights and would certainly return as we conme regularly to Marin from London.
We did find the booking process unnecessarily arduous, we had to make many phone calls to what sound like the far east, but in the end it was brilliant.
We should mention that we have friends who also live in San Francisco which meant that being near the Larkspur ferry was a HUGE bonus as we never had to drive into the city.
