We arrived really late, so Paul was on hand to provide a code to access the front door and our key to the room was waiting for us. The breakfast was really good and great value for money. Choice of bagels with bacon or sausage and a fried egg, eggs benedict and other choices as well as toast and some fruit and cakes. The facility is clean and well presented and the hosts, Paul & Lee are really accommodating and go out of their way to help.

The only points we were not so keen on, the bed was a double, rather than a king, which there was ample size to accommodate one. I am sure there is a reason. Secondly the bathroom was snug, but clean and functional.

When we arrived we were given a family room which was out of this world, everything about it was first class and very clean, we couldn't have asked for a better room if we tried. Paul and Lee couldn't do enough for us, they gave us information regarding places to visit and where to eat out at night. We were asked to fill out a breakfast request so that they new what we wanted to eat in the morning, the quality of the food was first class. We will certainly recommend 'The Metropolitan' to friends and family.

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, superb breakfast! Plus although I booked a single room I was upgraded to a double.

Will definitely stay again, really friendly and the breakfast was amazing I have already recommended the guest house to others. The rooms and decor were spotless and there was everything you needed.
