Friendly family run B&B with a lovely welcoming feel

This is the most delightful and homely guest house I have ever stayed in! I was kindly offered a larger room by the owner Rebecca , due to a cancellation. It was a lovely surprise and had many nice touches in it. So peaceful aswell. I didn't stay for breakfast but could see the choices on the menu catered for vegans and vegetarians too. Always good to know! A lovely location opposite a really nice park and near the beach. Highly recommended.

Everything about Sandsides was perfect, sooo comfy beds excellent choices for Breakfast and Rebecca the hostess with the mostest was so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for her. Spotlessly clean, just 3 minutes to the prom opposite a lovely park. Parking right outside perfect.

I needed a quiet night as I was staying for an interview the next day. The lady owner was lovely and welcomed me and I was encouraged to make myself at home. The room was the quietest hotel/guest house room that I have ever stayed in- I didn't hear a thing all night and that is unusual for me! The single room is up a lot of stairs and tucked away at the top and back, probably why I didn't hear any noise. I managed to find parking on the street in front. The whole interior is nicely decorated and I was pleased to be able to use the guest lounge to do some work as there isn't much space in the single room. I had to leave early to attend my interview so I didn't have breakfast but it smelt good as I was leaving! There was a good selection of blankets and the hot water bottle was a nice extra. The bed was comfortable. There was a nice selection on the tea tray and the biscuits were a nice touch.

There isn't any way round it due to where it is in the house but the bathroom is separate but on the same private floor as the bedroom so still private. It wasn't a major issue but I did worry that I would lock myself out of the room each time I went to the bathroom! The shower pressure wasn't the strongest (but still warm and useable), but that is my only downside really, I enjoyed everything else about my stay and would definitely return.

Lovely house, near the sea and the theatre (which was why I was there). Friendly welcome. Didn't have breakfast but I'm sure it would have been good!
