Nice view.

The location (road) is so bad.. after 6pm you cann’t go down the road and enjoy your night time in Ella because you need shuttle.. the restaurant is un organized.. you have to wait more than expected also.

I was a little underwhelmed by the views from the rooom - we were on the 2nd floor and you could see the mountains in the background but in the forefront we had a view of car parks. Although the room was otherwise very clean, more attention needs to be paid to the linens/soft furnishings: - the roller blind in the bathroow was covered in mould - both curtains and curtain nets had big stains on them - towels although clean were definitely more gray than white

La vue superbe (même si c'est dommage que le parking et certaines parties extérieures ne soient pas mieux mises en valeur, cela pourrait être largement amélioré). Le petit déjeuner. The hotel was amazing. It’s quite high up so the view from our room was breathtaking!

The road up to the hotel was very steep but the hotel provided a shuttle service until 6pm and that helped.

The views from the room are amazing. But - we booked ‘Mountain View’ as the photos to book showed we’d have incredible views. But, we checked in, and they gave us a ground floor room where we could hardly see them! We paid to upgrade.

They didn’t have milk tea with milk powder - which is the best way to drink tea in Sri Lanka!

The location comes with stunning views, infinity pool, and rooftop restaurant and bar. Price is inconvenient location at top of very steep and winding road, requiring challenging hike uphill, reliance, on hotel shuttle, or tuk-tuk ride. Hotel shuttle greets you to collect luggae and provides rides throughout day.

Está todo muy limpio , personal atento , buen buffet! Wifi perfecto! Vistas muy buenas desde la piscina . Nos hicieron un box de desayuno por qué nos fuimos a las 6 de la mañana . Agradecidos Calidad precio todo okey !

La cuesta para subir al alojamiento es matadora sobretodo por la noche , lo bueno es que tienen servicio de shuttle bus de 7 a 6 pm Todos los tuk tuk no quieren subir al hotel por la cuesta . Por poner una pega

Worst money value ever!

Trying to scam when you want to pay. They wanted to charge us 5% additional if we pay by card in USD or 3% in LKR. They also cheat on conversion of currencies. Very poor breakfast and dinner is a joke for the price. Better get your food outside. Worst invested 200usd/night ever. Not worth more than 30 usd. Still waiting for Booking.com for refund and compensation…

Way overpriced - much better value to be found in Ella

The property was very clean and the rooms were to a high standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was up the top of a very steep hill, which was fine for us, but might be an issue for some. It was also quite noisy late at night/early morning as you could hear the music from the bats down the hill. Sometimes the service was quite slow.

Breakfast was average. Showers didn’t work properly, WiFi didn’t work. Pool was too cold to swim in. The hill you need to walk up from Ella town to get there is very steep.

New hotel with a superb view, design, interior. Well-appointed rooms with quality amenities. Unpaired 360 view from roof top, where a restaurant and a swimming pool is located.

Luckily the hotel provides transfer from town. This is a must, as only small vehicles can drive up - the tuktuk barely makes it up the hill - so make sure you contact the hotel before arrival.

Shuttle to and from town, helpful staff and clean rooms.

Very loud music can be heard at night, doesn’t stop till 3am on the weekend. Shuttle stops at 7pm which isn’t helpful for nights.

La habitación estaba sin renovar, bastante antigua, baño sin renovar. Precio elevado en relación a la habitación. El acceso al hotel es complicado porque tiene una gran cuesta y en caso de lluvia no puede subir ni el shuttle. El restaurante para cenar es caro.

The view is fantastic. Too many flies. Food was very mediocre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Massage was horrible as they did not knwo a basic massage. Waste of money.

To have a shower rather than a tub. Towels to be cleaner and smell better. Comfortable chairs in the balcony. Dohble glazing windows as the noise from the town was very disturbing.

Es war verhältnismäßig doch sehr teuer, für das was man bekommt. Da man sich sowieso nicht viel dort aufhält haben wir uns im Nachhinein geärgert.

Internet connection could be better

The room was very clean and it looked like in the pictures. The room had amazing views. The rooftop has 360 degree view of the mountains. The food at their restaurant is really good. We had breakfast included and the food was very good, I recommend their breakfast. The hotel offers pickup from the railway station and drop off to the main street. The staff was very helpful and they found a tuk tuk driver for us. The location is very good. I really enjoyed my time at this hotel and I would book it again.

I didn’t like the spa.

We found our first hotel in Ella having noisey refurbishment and far from the serinety we were looking for. So we looked for another hotel. And we were glad we did when we found the Morning Dew. We could not have been happier. From the arrival we were so well looked after. Our room had the most fantastic vista of Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak. The breakfast and the staff who served it were so friendly and attentive. In fact all the staff were emabassadors for their hotel. A special thank you goes to Nalinda, who really did go out of his way to make our trip perfect. Even making sure that our onward travel was safe by holding onto the taxi payment until he received news we had arrived safely.

There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like about staying at Morning Dew. From the hospitality of the staff all the way to the views and amenities provided to us, everything was absolutely perfect.

I honestly cannot think of a single thing I disliked about the property, I only wish I stayed there a bit longer than I did. I know that the next time I’m visiting Ella, Morning Dew will be the only place I ever stay in from now on

What a brilliant place to stay. A full 360 degree view from the roof top bar looking over both Ella town, Ella rock sun rise and sunset. My room was lush, the breakfast great, and swimming in an infinity pool at sunset by myself was a memory I’ll treasure.

It’s true the pool is on the colder side, but once you’re in its fine. And yes the private driveway is super steep. A tuktuk can only just get up here with one passenger, and 500R to get a lift up from town isn’t a bad deal, I say. The view more than makes Up for both, I say!

Lovely view, good facilities. Room was nice big and clean. Steep climb is not that bad. Staff is nice.

Internet was not working at all. Pool on the roof gives amazing view, but very windy, makes the pool cold and the windy conditions makes a relaxing swim near impossible.
