Great breakfast with good variety, lovely location in the center of Beer. The owners were friendly and helpful before and during our stay.

Great location. Breakfast choices were really good and unique.

Breakfast was of a very high quality with a wide choice to suit all. Towels were luxurious. Hosts were friendly and went out of their way to please.

Breakfast great with good choices to cater for everyone, the room had extras like mini fridge fresh milk water also had iron and ironing board and room fan everything you could want! Plus you only had to ask if you did need anything although hard to think what that would be!

The hospitality, friendliness and general good banter was excellent. The facilities was perfect, breakfast was good. The location is ideal for touring East Devon and Dorset. The tips we received by email prior to our arrival, set up the week. Which restaurants to book, car parking permits, and general advice on facilities in the town. We had a tremendous week. Thank you.

It was almost the perfect week. We chilled, met up with family in both Devon and Doreset and had a great holiday.

Nettie and Col are always welcoming and friendly without being over involved. And always ready with helpful local knowledge/recommendations! Always a pleasure to stay here.

Excellent breakfast. We both tried the "Beer" traditional English breakfast of sausage egg bacon mushroom and baked beans. All freshly cooked and served piping hot. Room was clean and ready when we arrived. Hotel right in the centre of Beer. Nice view over the town from our window. Hosts very friendly , chatty and willing to help residents.

Room was a little cramped with the two of us. Shower was also very "compact". Luckily we didnt have to unpack much as we were only here for two days. No parking spaces availability at the hotel , which means leaving the car in one of the expensive council run ones, but we knew this prior to arrival.

Col & Nette were lovely friendly hosts, nothing was to much trouble. A free car park permit was also provided which was much appreciated. Fridge in the room with fresh milk was lovely so much nicer than sachet milk.

The property was beautiful very clean and bright room and comfortable . The hosts Nette and Col were very friendly and made you feel very welcome . Also the breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked to order nothing was too much trouble. We have already booked our return stay at this property .

Not a problem for us but a couple of the rooms (not all) are up very steep stairs which could be tricky for some

Breakfast was excellent, location and room fantastic and hosts very hospitable. Beer is a lovely little village with lots to do especially when the weather is perfect!

Lovely welcoming B & B, we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fabulous. Nette and Col were fantastic caring hosts. Definitely will be returning!

March 2023. We stayed in Rm 5 which was spacious and beautifully decorated and appointed. Lovely ensuite with plenty of hot water in the shower, toiletries etc. Really handy small silent fridge in room provided with water and fresh milk. We'd asked for de-caf and both tea and ground filter coffee were provided complete with cafetiere. Fantastic breakfast, we had the 'Beer' full english but plenty of choice too for vegetarians/vegans and all freshly cooked. Absolutely delicious, Nothing was too much trouble and our hosts were superb.
