We were very lucky to get a room upgrade that had a full kitchen facility & washer and drier PLUS breakfast so we could not complain, if we got that deal again, we'd stay there every time we came to Auckland!

We've stayed here in the past and it's looking a little tired now, only little things but could just do with a bit of love. The basin plug was missing in the bathroom sink, the shower drain cover was loose and there's scrapes and marks on the big metal beams that run through the room.

We tried a bigger room then normal as the price wasn't too different to a smaller room. It was fantastic.

The room was very comfortable. The location of the is ideal - close to rhe motorway to head south.

Check-in after hour service. Despite ringing twice to let them know I will arrive after 9pm but before 10pm. When I arrived and pressed the intercom button I was told my name was not on the arrival list. I was left standing outside for 5 minutes. The customer service person contacted the duty manager but failed to tell me. I pressed the buzzer and asked what's going on. She giggled to which I said she was rude and not helpful. The duty manager turns up and tells me I'm not on the arrival list. He asked to see the messages on my phone and checked the computer at reception to find my name and an envelope with my bmnam3 was in the key box.

We came in late and staff were very friendly and helpful

Good location. Close to Rainbows End, lots of eateries and the motorway.

Hard to find car parks. Smallish rooms.

I thought it was value for money and reasonably close to airport and the area I need to be in for business

Location was perfect for where I needed to be. Facilities were clean and the room size was perfect for a solo traveller like myself

Bathroom layout in Deluxe Hotel rooms was a bit awkward

Staff members at reception were very helpful and friendly. We were dropping a family member off at the airport so very handy location.

Doors to the bathroom swing into the toilet in the deluxe hotel rooms making entry a bit awkward. Maybe upgrade to cavity sliders or doors that swing out into hallway?

Given the incorrect information for the included breakfast - so paid for something off the menu, to then discover the real buffet and hotel refused to give a refund, instead issued a credit for future use - not sure how legal that is....... but not happy

My husband and I liked that it was close to the Manukau Mall and local bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great? Staff were kind and friendly would highly recommend to all.

Room. Top quality apartment, comfortable, clean with everything you need for a short stay. The washing machine was very useful but the condenser dryer did take a long time. We could not fault the apartment at all…

After about an hour of being in our apartment another couple walked in using a key. It appears reception had forgotten the apartment was already allocated which suggests fundamental problems with the processes adopted by the hotel. If we had been out our possessions could have been compromised. We were informed several times prior to our arrival the reception was not open 24hr over the holiday weekend. For such a large hotel I found this a concern especially if there was an emergency. As it happens a tornado passed very close during our stay so would there have been staff to assist if it had been closer or just a call centre? No mention or advanced warning was made about the restaurant being closed because of flooding until we arrived. Then it was not made clear if breakfast was being made available during the weekend. Signs advertising the restaurant were left on display even after I asked if this should be the case. With no warning obtaining provisions was difficult because many grocery stores shut for the holiday weekend. Parking. This hotel does not have adequate parking for its guests but does not warn you in person or with signage what appears an extension of their area is in fact an events car park that has charges.
