Not only the room was comfortable and inexpensive, but the gentleman at front desk was very caring and helpful. Prior evening I asked him if there were any stores near by that sold fruits. He said they would be closed at that hour. Next day morning, the breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 and I had a tour that was to pick me up at 6:30. So I was going to skip the breakfast. But he prepared a fruit plate for me and knocked my door at 6:15 for breakfast.

This is a nice hostel and good value for money. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It is not far form the center of Chivay. Portable heaters are available in the rooms and you will need them in the winter. We stayed here just one night and visited the Colca canon the next day. It is possible to get an early breakfast (6 in the morning or earlier).

Clean, lovely, quiet place with warm showers. Breakfast is good and owners are kind and helpful. Electric heaters to plug in. It gets really cold during the night, so definitely bring warm clothes also to sleep. I'd recommend to choose this hostel.

nothing, it was as expected.

rooms were decorated in Andean style, very colourful and welcoming. everything was very clean and they also provided a small heater if required. the staff was very kind and always ready to help. Good position, just a 10 minute walk from the main square.

Our room didn’t have a window onto the outside which was a shame, but no big deal and it never felt stuffy

They prepared breakfast already at 5.30 am, because we had to start with our guided tour. Staff is friendly, but communication English was sometimes a little bit difficult.

Electricity was gone for certain minutes, it’s very cold (but also because of the season), paying by card means extra fee, so cash might be better.

Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Their garage was full but they found another secure place to park our motorcycles. And they let us keep our bikes there while we did a hike the next day.

Well priced and the accommodation has everything you need. Bed is comfortable, towels are provided, room is clean, there is hot water and if you need anything additional you can buy it at reception (e.g. shampoo, deodorant). There was even an electrical heater in the room. Moreover Chivay is a small town so it was only a five minute walk to the main square.

Nice decorations. Very helpful staff, they organized a mountain bike for me, so I could visit the nearby villages.

Wi-fi did not stretch to my room.

Really nice hostal, very cheap and clean. The personall was very friendly and helpful. They were flexible with payment as the credit card reader didnt work at first. The breakfast was fantastic and included in the low price

The Wifi was slow and erratic but there is only one provider in the area, so the hostel management cannot do anything

Stuff are friendly and having hospitality, clean, the most important thing hot shower. I really relaxed and enjoyed here.
