The house was musty when we arrived, but freshened up nicely when we opened windows. Its a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood and a close walk to the beach. The house is spacious and comfortable for our family. Bathrooms were very clean, and the TV room was very comfortable. However, the beds, carpets, and a few kitchen implements need updating or cleaning. It was a nice weekend.

You really need to change the door handle at the front door. It took 15 minutes to wiggle it just right to get the key to turn.
We really liked the house a lot, but a little welcome note with some instructions would have been wonderful!

This is a cute home in a nice neighborhood with a very convenient location. Upon arriving, we noticed the TV and the gas fireplace in the main living room did not work. We decided to relocate to the second small living room and the small heater in there did not work either. Maintenance came said the main TV was broken & he could not get the fireplace to work. He recommended putting a fan on the kitchen counter to push warm air into the second living room. That did not help, so we called again and we were given two small space heaters to warm up the second living room. They worked, but they were very noisy and emitted a dusty odor. It was very hard for my father to hear the TV with both heaters running. Since we only stayed one night, these issues definitely impacted our stay.

Fun weekend
The house was very clean and had all the accessories we needed. It was a 5-7 minute walk to the beach or casino. Unfortunately the TV Roku player did not hold a charge from the TV so we had some trouble with that over the few days we were there. We managed to plug it into a charger we brought. Also in the back bathroom these little black Beatle bugs would come out on the floor whenever the shower or bath was running. Then die right there a few hours later. It was very strange and not great. The backyard was torn up and just a bunch of dirt and tree roots however on a positive side, one morning there was a deer and two bucks laying relaxing in the backyard dirt for a few hours. Overall we had a lovely weekend but I do think they need to get someone out there to see about the bugs and get that backyard finished. Also repair the TV.

Perfect size for three separate sleepers
What a delightful gem this house is. Upgrades to bathroom and kitchen are a delight and the back deck off the back bedroom was perfection for coffee mornings listening to the waves.
Close enough to walk to the beach. Three separate sleeping spaces with the pull out couch in the second living room made it perfect.
We could not figure out how to work the fireplace but it was no problem because they have central heat.

Not enough pot lids
Me and my Fam stay 5-12-22/5-15-22.
It was very warm welcoming not cluttered. And plenty of room, also there was a fam room perfect for the kids and there ps2. If there was 1 thing I had to say negative about the sweet cottage…. There was not enough pot lids😆.

Short weekend getaway
We really enjoyed our short little getaway. The kids enjoyed the easy access to the beach, which is within walking distance. Had to contact property management about the trash can being full and some trouble with the cable tv which we heard back from them within a couple of hours and someone came the same day to help with the issues. It’s a sweet spot, with the comforts you need for a stay away from home. Thank you!

The Cottage was adorable. We wanted to buy it the minute we walked in. As other commenters have suggested...the down sides were the beds, and the state of the BBQ. The beds are way too soft, and the BBQ had mold on it, and wouldn't stay lit. There is something wrong with the BBQ. It would light, then go out, yet the entire deck area smelled like gas. It could have been the wind, but not likely. I think it's much more likely there is a hole in the gas tube, or the regulator is broken. The mold i can forgive. It's lincoln City in December, but with no way to heat up the grill, it's just going to get worse and worse until it's properly fixed. Sorry we forgot to start the dishwasher on the way out. we remembered about the time we hit Otis and feel bad about that. We'd stay here again, in a heartbeat...we might bring our own hibachi, but we'd stay here again. THANKS!!

Neighborhood was great. No ocean view, but it was great otherwise. Couldn’t get the gas fireplace going so had to get a maintenance guy in, then it was fine. Wasn’t clear that I couldn’t take my cat until after we had paid. And no way to put a pet deposit or clarify this in the sign-up for the property.

This is a very affordable rental - so it was exactly what we expected to find. The rental was very clean and the furniture and amenities were in great condition, which is always a worry when it's pet friendly. I think the pictures represent the rental very well. We did find the hall bathroom to have a damp towel smell, which I think was coming from the shower curtain, but again it was all very clean. The house is located back in the trees, so I think that's probably the challenge they have, it just seems a little damp. The house needs a quick cleaning outside, but I'm sure it's hard to keep clean with all of the trees around it and we are getting into fall. The only other thing, is that the previous renters didn't clean up after their pets outside, there seemed to be dog droppings all around outside, which I don't think the cleaning staff should have to take care of. Overall, it was a good house and exactly what you can expect at a very affordable price! We would stay there again.

Relaxation and Fun!
The property was amazing. The inside of the home is set up so that you could have quiet time fun time or just get away from each other. The decks were awesome to house. One thing I would say that we noticed because of our ages we were over 60 it would’ve been nice to have a handrail going into the house.

Master bath toilet became clogged the first night we were there. they came to inspect on Tuesday to find it was clogged to the point of not being able to use it. We did not clog it. We were still able to use the shower and sink. we had 4 adults using one toilet. I assumed that it would be unclogged during our stay but it was not. Other than that it was a great house.

Comfortable house perfect for adults
I stayed here for 4 nights with my sister in early November. We were exploring the coast and local parks mostly for wildlife viewing. On our arrival we were unable to open the deadbolt on the front door. We were able to contact someone right away and got a maintenance man within 10 minutes who let us in the back door was able to fix the lock. He was very friendly with helpful advice for our stay. The house was very comfortable. We each had our own room and bathroom. The beds had memory foam top mattresses which were almost too soft. The living room furniture was very comfortable and there was a gas fireplace which I used to dry my raingear. The yard was small and there was no walkable access to the beach so I would not recommend this for children. The only suggestion I would give the owners is to include instructions on operating the fireplace and televisions.

Great Location
Super cute cottage near two beach access points! The overall look of the inside was super cozy and like the photos listed. Loft upstairs has two twin beds, one futon and TV with lots of games and movies. Off the loft are two separate rooms with full size beds. This cottage has everything you should need for the beach and your inside needs. Only negative thing was the upkeep of the front and back "yard" and was not fenced in for pets or small children. Photos show it landscaped and well kept but it was not during our stay and needs a good mowing and the bushes trimmed back. We will stay here again and again!
