Location was good, near shops and cafes, and suitable for bus routes.
Bad experience with shower and also wet patch on carpet. Disappointed with management response.

It was really spacious, pretty and clean. The lady downstairs were super lovely and Margot and Steph at number 4 were lovely. It’s god that you have a washing machine and hoover etc as we were able to wash our clothes and tidy properly before vacating!

The property and hosts were amazing. Very clean, well equipped with everything you need! Located in a great place with easy access to shops and the beach. We would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Bournemouth.
The property was on the top floor with no lift, so if you have trouble with walking, unfortunately the place wouldn't be for you.

Lovely clean and bright apartment, well equipped with two bathrooms, one en suite. Parking is a bonus.
Very good location in Westbourne which has a nice high street with amenities. Close to Bournemouth beaches and nearby attractions.
Would of liked an extra lounge seat to add to the comfort of 4 guests. No bathroom bins.

thank you for returning the deposit.
We never saw nor heard from four adult males in the property during our stay there. Staying in our booking, other than the two of us were Venessa's mother and our ten week old baby.
We understand that you may know these property owners well but at the end of a very long day and in the middle of the night to be woken by agitated people demanding to come in was scary, especially when they became irate and abusive. Besides our baby and valuables being in the property we couldn't be sure what actions they may have carried out in the flat, they could have caused damage or refused to leave and we would have no means of making them do so and the police advised us not to let anyone in.
Had an employee from your company or a qualified plumber arrived they would of course been let in. We were very keen to assist with solving the problem but there were no signs of leaking in the flat nor any accessible means of shutting water off. We checked this time and time again every time someone came banging on the door.
We booked the property to have a peaceful & relaxing stay and can assure you all facilities within the flat were used in a normal, sensible and correct way. If we had noticed anything malfunctioning we would have reported it to you straight away, as we did with the water temperature in the showers and when neighbours first started reporting leaking.
The bath did not overflow at any point and the neighbours were not let into the property for the reasons stated above. Following this incident, aside from being very shaken we were now extremely conscious that using the facilities could be causing damage in the properties below. We had two further nights booked to stay at the property but were fearful of further interaction with the neighbours and that the plumbing wasn't correctly working so had to leave.
We left first thing on Saturday morning.

Great location.... Had everything we needed in the apartment. Beds were comfortable and the whole apartment was very clean. We had a great stay!
The lights didn't seem to work in the stairs/hallway so we had to use our phone lights to make sure we didn't trip up.

car parking arrangements are great ,they have a very small car park it’s quite tricky parking your car and it taking out ,I stayed here with my two children one 15 and other 18 was expecting 2 single beds in bedrooms but both rooms had 1 double bed which wasn’t really convenient

Very nice flat, better than expected, recently refurnished. Open space with natural light. Good location near to markets, restaurants, and cafes, 25min walking to the beach.
The curtains in both rooms are very messy to close and a lot of light keeps coming, very difficult to sleep when you have at 5 am the sun in your face. I recommend you carry an eye mask.

Good communication by the hosts. The apartment was well-equipped, and it was like stepping into a home. There were also nice touches with the bathroom amenities.

The location was perfect and a minute walk into Westbourne. The apartment has all the amenities and really comfortable. I highly recommend this lovely “home away from home”

Apartment was in an excellent location with some great restaurants nearby. The famous fish & chip shop 'Chez fred' was literally around the corner. The apartment was clean and spacious and two bathrooms are always a bonus. We had a lovely holiday at this apartment.
Being on the second floor was the only downside, carrying the luggage up two flights of stairs with no lift.

We’ve stayed at Bournemouth many times but never Westbourne end, I loved the fact you had shops on the doorstep and didn’t have to walk down a steep hill to get to the shops and back up a steep hill , it was a short walk to the beach . The beds were very comfortable had a lovely night sleep.
Like the fact that the tv had Netflix and prime so was able to watch a movie in the evening before going to bed.
The cups and utensils needed to be washed before we could use them, ( they hadn’t been cleaned and had tea and food stains)
The shower water was far too hot to actually use the shower head ( on the bath) dangerously hot,
Car parking is an issue on our first night number 7 had completely double parked so we couldn’t park and on the road is yellow lines so couldn’t park there, second day I parked perfectly in the bay only for number 7 to complain she couldn’t get her car in, so I moved over so I was mostly parked out of the box , on our last day a resident complained that I shouldn’t park my car like that, so that’s an issue I feel all the time possibly needs looking at moving the parking bay , having said that don’t let that put you off booing ,it’s in a fabulous location a lovely spacious apartment and the host is very approachable.

The property is located at walkable distance from Alum Chime beach . Close to pubs , restaurants and convenient stores . Comfortable stay , peaceful even though it’s close to city . We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the facilities 👍👍

Great location. Modern and beautiful. Loved the guitar and record player (although we couldn't figure out how to work it). Lovely open plan layout, perfect for socialising. Very clean. Friendly and helpful host! Beryl bikes and scooters close by which are such fun. Parking space available. Comfy couch. Nice big smart tv which has Netflix.
We weren't told which flat number it was so we ended up trying to open all the doors in the house until we realised it was flat 8. There were only two very small wine glasses which wasn't great as the place sleeps 4 people. The cupboards where the plates are could do with a clean. It's on the top floor so it is quite a climb up there.

Location, proximity to bars/restaurants etc.
No information pack, no fire escape plan (this must be a contravention in a rental property) Crockery/cutlery grubby, cups/mugs were tea/coffee stained. One of the beds was broken on one side the other bed is just a mattress on the floor. Bedroom light not working. Toilet seat cracked, basin tap loose. The communal hallways and stairs smell of damp. Not the most expensive apartment but we expected the basics to be right at £125 per night. We did contact booking.Com re the broken bed and light, took photo of defective bulb as requested, nobody attended prior to us checking out.
