My friends and I stayed in the house for our annual buddies golf trip and it was perfect. The house is in a great neighborhood and very convenient to access city attractions. More importantly for us, the house accommodated our large groups of guys with several comfortable beds and multiple areas for relaxing, playing games, eating, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked and we took advantage of the quality grill. Deck areas were large with plenty of seating. We didn’t make much use of them because of the heat, but it looked perfect for mild days. We did spend plenty of time in the pool. Despite the extreme heat, the pool stayed relatively cool and was roomy enough for 10 big fellas. A perfect place to cool off and unwind after extremely hot days on the golf course. The house has a lot of charm and some quirky decor/features as you can see in the pictures.

This property had many positives. The owner/property manager responded when notified of issues. They supplied plenty of coffee, spices, pool towels, paper products, ice. The pool was great and definitely needed during some HOT weather! There was plenty of space for our group of 11 and beds were pretty comfortable. The location was within 10-15 minutes of all of our activities. The Xbox and upstairs family room were great for our kids. There were also several negatives. The listing itself is misleading and needs to be updated. We wanted a walkable location and chose this house due to the statement that it was within a 5 minute walk of Bardstown Road. It is about a mile from Bardstown Road, a 30 minute walk. There are no sidewalks in the immediate neighborhood and you have to walk through the grass along a busy road to get to a sidewalk to walk anywhere. That was disappointing. The landscaping needs some attention to make the outdoor area more pleasant. We had several issues within the first 36 hours of our stay. We contacted the owner/property manager and they took care of those problems in a timely manner. Some updating and TLC would probably have prevented those issues. The owner/property manager is working with us to compensate us for the inconvenience this caused but it was a rough start to our family vacation. Some care and updating of the listing and home could make this a very pleasant rental for large groups.

We had 4 grandchildren shooting at the National archery tournament so we turned it into a mini vacation. Very nice neighborhood under 15 minutes travel time to all the locations we needed to visit. Louisville is always a good time!

Loved the house and location

Great property with lots of room! 9 adult friends stayed here for the weekend. Main house, kitchen, bedrooms, baths, and deck area are very nice and clean. The only thing that was disappointing was that the hot tub didn't get real hot. Fix that and it's perfect for a family or friends getaway!! If we come back, we would stay here again.

We brought our grandkids to Louisville and thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. The kids, all ages, enjoyed the pool, all the amenities and the privacy the pool accorded. I highly recommend this property and the owner was very responsive.

Couldn’t be happier! House was large enough for all to have their own space. Separate mother in law unit was a blessing. The second floor gathering area was well equipped with Xbox and play station. Kept the 4 grandkids well entertained! The pool was a godsend with the 90+ temperatures we endured. House was well supplied with paper goods, laundry products, spices and coffee. One of the best homes we’ve rented in over 20 years. Ali was easy to work with and responded to all question in a rapid fashion. It is a house you won’t regret renting!!

Our stay was really good, the house had just about everything we needed and a very well stocked kitchen (except for dish towels). We loved the pool and deck out back. The location was great too! Cons: mainly just communication - pool cleaning robot wasn't working, it took the owner over 4 hours to respond (after both an email and text was sent). He did not come out until the next day but he did fix it. We were told ice was in the basement. There was a fridge there and a big bag of ice was in the freezer, however the last day of the trip we found an actual ice machine! Wish we had known this to start with....the machine was not marked and a note about it should have been left in the kitchen. There was also nothing about the area; i.e. where to eat, shop, etc. We researched our own shopping excursion and found a cute little town called Norton Commons, however it would have been nice to have several locations already laid out (we missed the one that supposedly was within walking distance (more than a half mile away on busy roads)..........Lastly, the air temperature upstairs was not consistent. Two front bedrooms were very hot at night (bring a fan) and two back bedrooms were freezing. I emailed the owner this review so he is now aware.

In town for a show and this was a great place for us to spend the week.

The home worked out extremely well for our family of seven adults and one toddler. The high chair and blocks were nice for my grandson. Lots of comfortable spaces to sleep and play in and a well stocked kitchen . The host was extremely responsive and accommodating! No sidewalks right near the house but we went to many parks with short car rides. Thank you

We had a group of 7 stay at the property and it was a great size. We all had a bed and the space allowed great spots to hang out. We did a few big meals and the kitchen was well equipped to handle this. Proximity to downtown was great, a quick 10-15 minute drive. This place checked all the boxes for us!

We had a good time and the owner was very responsive. Had a small problem with one of the ovens but there's a second oven in the mother-in-law's suite. Pool was great and everybody had a good time. The owner was very responsive to anything we had questions about. We really enjoyed ourselves.

It was a nice place. I slipped down the side steps off of the porch. The top step was rotten. But the new deck was great! Pool was clean. House was clean! Lots of towels and bedding! Will definitely recommend!

We were a family of 4 adults. Plenty of space for more. Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect centralized location with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. Beds were all clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. The pool was wonderful. The homeowners were very easy to work with. Louisville was a delight to visit, the people were very friendly and the food was awesome. I would highly recommend this home for your visit to a great vacation area.

This is a wonderful, spacious home with a secluded deck and pool. Ali was very friendly and helpful in making us feel at home. We will definitely stay here again!

We were in town for a family wedding and wanted a nice place to hangout before and after the rehearsal and wedding. The place was great. Alot of space inside and out, big bedrooms, the pool. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that needed some attention were a few overgrown flower beds.

My groomsman and I stayed in Ali's home for my bachelor party weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. There were more than enough beds and couches for people to sleep, bathrooms to use, and fridges for food and beverages. The hot tub was awesome, but unfortunately it was too early in the season for the pool to be open. Ali was great and accommodated a later checkout so we had extra time to clean and recover from a bourbon-filled weekend. Would definitely stay here again with a big group!

Overall it is a nice property. A few things were addressed to the owner and he was appreciative and taking care of issues. Super nice.

Beautiful home with lots of room and space. Some of the kids kept getting lost lol. Very easy to communicate with the owners, they responded back very quickly. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again.

A bit of a confusion when booking. Post says 5 minute walk to Bardstown rd. We misunderstood this as being close to Bardstown the town, but great location for getting around. Great house with a lot of space for 3 couples. Quiet neighborhood with many trees and hills. Couldn’t sleep in one bed due to a huge yellow stain, but had many options. The beds were average, a little old. Good showers and bathroom facilities. The kitchen and TV room had a lot of use by us. Very stocked kitchen for foodies like us during Covid. The only frustration here was the oven temperature, needs calibration. Hot tub was clean and hot. I would recommend this house to anyone. Thanks Ali.

We loved staying with Ali. The house is wonderful and the property is spacious and has everything you’d want. He is flexible and communicative. Any questions I had, he was happy to answer and work with me. We’d definitely stay again.

This property served our needs for a mutual meeting spot to get together with our family during the pandemic, especially with the goal to spend time outside in the pool. The house itself definitely needs improvements, as many rooms are dark with stained carpet, walls and furniture. The owner was very nice and responsive before and during our stay, which certainly made the experience more pleasant. There were a few things that were missing from the photos or not working when we got there like a fire pit and grill, but the owner was very accommodating to provide these working items the next day.

It was nice to be able to get away. We stayed around the home, playing games and swimming. It was very relaxing. Convenient to the park across the street

The house was amazing! It had everything we needed and it was away from everyone. We enjoyed our getaway for the weekend. Especially loved the bathrooms. My four year old took a lot of baths in the big tub! Definitely will stay again!

We were very very pleased with this property. The communication with the owner was prompt, courteous, helpful and very responsive. I would absolutely stay here again if I am to return to Louisville and would highly recommend this property.
