Gorgeous house fit for multiple families to enjoy wine country

Nice home, with lots of amenities and space. Accommodated 6 adults comfortably and we enjoyed the space. Fully stocked kitchen and game room, plenty to do and instructions for everything on the property.

Really enjoyed the house and amenities. So much room and very well presented.

We had a wonderful time during the long President’s Day weekend at the Wine Country Redwood Estate. This place is nothing short of incredible. It’s very large with several nice spaces for friends and family to stretch out and enjoy the nice accommodations. The house is clean and Harry the owner has everything marked clearly. He has thought of everything, so you really do not need to bring anything with you. Harry made a point to ask us the type of wine and beer we liked, and then had a very nice welcome package for us on arrival. A few bottles of wine, 2 six packs of beer and an excellent charcuterie board with high end cheese, meat and crackers. It rained most of the time we were there so we could not enjoy the yard and deck, but we could tell the outside areas were well maintained. Harry was always on the ball with communications, and you can tell he really cares about your visit. The location is great, it seems we were never more than 30 minutes from any place we wanted to go in Sonoma and Calistoga. We cannot recommend this property and owner highly enough, you will definitely not be disappointed. If we ever make it back to wine country we will try to stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wine Country Redwood Estate. The home was beautifully appointed and had everything to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed being surrounded by the beautiful redwood trees, hearing the rain on the roof and snuggling into comfortable beds with lovely soft sheets. The house was ideally located for local outings into Santa Rosa and neighboring communities. Your welcome gift of wine, cheese and more was delightful. Harry was a wonderful host. The house is absolutely gorgeous in a wonderful location. The highlight is the backyard and hot tub. You feel as though you’re all alone in a forest. The house has everything you need to be comfortable.

Very nice property. Very large and spacious. In need of some updating and there are a lot of rules related to outdoor use age. Hosts thought of everything you could need. Overall as advertised.

The house was amazing for our office team retreat and provided plenty of space for us to hang out and chat both inside and out. There were plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms and the kitchen was just enough for us to cook all of the group meals needed. Harry was amazing with giving us the property details ahead of time and was an amazing host throughout our stay. The outside deck area was amazing to enjoy the nice weather on and all of the trees made it feel like we were secluded away in the mountains but with the convenience of being relatively close to groceries and stores.

We were there for my birthday weekend/girls weekend, there was 8 of us, there was more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable in their own bed (2 ladies shared a King). The house and property is absolutely gorgeous, the host has about every amenity you would want from a charcuterie, snack tray with wine and beer, as well as coffee and creamer. There was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms. We got to enjoy the Jacuzzi both nights and one night around the fire pit, but we wish we had the whole two days just at the property because that would’ve been amazing but we had tours scheduled so we were not there during the day. We will definitely stay there again in the future, and just have our food and wine at the property to enjoy it. Our host was very accommodating, and we loved everything, thank you so much.

Overall an amazing place to rent and relax. Amenities are awesome! Host was very generous in giving us a few items to consume. One small thing about the neighbors. They don’t like noise one bit. Not sure why they would call in noise complaints when our noise level were at a minimum. Not a reason to ding this rental down on a negative review. Thank you for the stay. You made our wedding weekend special.

Perfect spot for weekend in wine country or just relaxing in comfort. A great house for family gatherings with thoughtful owners who make everything welcoming and easy to find. It is in a residential area, with neighbors who apparently object to noise that isn’t of their own making. But moving inside to spacious living room and game room is a great alternative. Loved our time here!

This was a lovely property and the hosts were so communicative and accommodating! As long as you're quiet and respectful, I can't imagine encountering any issues.

Do not rent if you are planning on utilizing the backyard of this property at ANY time during your stay!! The neighbors are very rude and offensive to the guests. The neighbors do not tolerate short term rental at all. At 5pm in the evening the neighbor to the left had a problem with a group of 8 sitting outside and having a conversation. She came through the fence and started yelling out expletives. She then proceeded to turn on loud music facing where we were seated hoping to get us to move inside. Soon after she turned on her garden hose and proceeded to spray us intentionally with water. This went on for an hour or so. When I informed the owner of the property, he was not at all sympathetic to what we had gone through. He directed me the the house rules that were inside the home. These harsh rules were NEVER communicated to me at anytime during my reservation process and were not posted on VRBO. “Out door music is not allowed. We recommend earphones should you wish to listen to music on the property”. Or that “Without anything other than very very soft talking”. If I knew these rules, I would never have rented this place. The house rules on VRBO does not reflect the one page rules that I was directed to after checking in. Our time at the property was very stressful and we did not enjoy our stay as we had intended. We paid good money for our stay and were treated like delinquents with multiple neighbors peeping through to fence to either yell vulgar

Great property! We were given a nice welcome basket of wine and goodies. Communication was quick and prompt. Highly recommend this place

The property is wonderful! Big house with many different living spaces which allowed all of us to have time together and also time apart or in smaller groups. We did not leave the house a ton but had access to close by grocery stores etc. (whole foods, safeway). It is obvious that one of the neighbors is not pleased that the house is a VRBO as they have signs up proclaiming "Houses not hotels" facing the property but we had no issue with nieghbors as we followed the directed quiet hours. Outdoor space lovely and well managed! No complaints whatsoever!

My girlfriends and I were so impressed with this gem tucked away! We also couldn’t believe how spacious it was! There were 9 of us and there were 2 rooms we never spent time in! This place is cozy and peaceful and Harry was the ultimate host, keeping in contact with me and having a welcome arrangement for us upon arrival. The house is great, spatious, super well equiped. All the facilities described in the online presentation were present. The outside space is amazing. The host is supergentled and gifted us with some cheese and wine. I recommend for sure, for big groups or families.

The property is amazing, all I'd hoped and more. Harry was extremely responsive and helpful and the welcome fruit, wine, cheese, snacks, and the overall level of how well the house was stocked with everything we'd need was far and above what I've experienced at any other property. The amount of cameras outside and fact that neighbors are not happy the house is used for rentals was a bit disconcerting so we did our best to not rock any boats during our stay. 2 showers was a bit of a logistical challenge with 10 adults but not unmanageable. Overall, the house, the location, and the outdoor areas were perfect for our gathering.

We were delighted with the well stocked pantry, the excellent cheese tray, crackers and granola, and wine! There were so many areas in the house to relax and enjoy.

Wonderful place with wonderful amenities - great grill, fire pit and hot tub. Place was also big enough for those who needed their own space to work. We were greeted with a thoughtful gift basket of goodies, which we enjoyed over the course of our weeklong stay. Close to great wineries, breweries, and hikes. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time at the house and took advantage of the many sitting areas inside and out. The house layout is great for groups, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the welcome treats were a bonus. Would love to stay again.

Very well organized place, lots an lots of spices and food for accompanying cooking. We were respectful of the quiet time, we were all inside before 9pm and still had a complaint from the neighbor because we were talking inside with a window open. The neighbors are not very nice but if you an early to bed group it will be a great place to stay!

This was a perfect place to stay for our large group and certainly one of the most hospitable hosts I’ve ever experienced! Wine and cheese waiting for us upon arrival?!? Our only complaint is the pictures online make it seem that the property is a bit more wooded between neighbors when really the properties border pretty closely. With 9pm quiet hours that made it a little challenging to fully enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces. Would still highly recommend as there was plenty of space inside for multiple areas of entertaining.

My group rented this house while we were in the area for business. Our only wish is we had had time to spend more of the days enjoying this beautiful property in the Redwoods. I would love to return for a family vacation. The house is so unique and the host has it setup to make it easy to settle in and get comfortable. What a great experience!
