The studio apartment looks quite new and was certainly very, very clean. Any requests for things were immediately seen to very convivially. The location is in the old town where there are lots of character tavernas and coffee shops which makes it a wonderful place to walk around and sample different places. It's in a VERY CONVENIENT location near the KTEL Intercity, KTEL Local and the Tourism Information Centre, as well as several very well stocked supermarkets.

A few more kitchen items such as cutting boards, good kitchen knives and maybe a small microwave would help. But you can get by with what is there.

The location is great. There was free water and coffee. The father of the owner was super kind and polite. The kitchen had all necessary utensils and the shower was decent.

The sofa bed was ultra uncomfortable and almost impossible to sleep on. The sides had wooden planks sticking out which were super painful, while the middle part was lowered (you are sinking into it) probably due to overuse. Overall it's impossible to sleep on it if you have even mild back problems. Also, the studio is right above clubs. The music is super loud and unbearable until almost 4 AM. The intercom was also not working properly and we could hear the club music through it. We had to tape the intercom with some sticky tape in order to lower the noise coming out of it. The sink in the bathroom was clogged almost every single day for no reason (neither of us have long hair). Most likely it remained clogged from the previous tenants. There was also no place to put any of our clothes. Not even a small cabinet. Overall it was a bad experience. There are so many reviews about this sofa and the owner did absolutely nothing.

The property was very clean and newly renovated.

There are nightclubs on the street level, which you can hear late at night.

The host is very kind, helpful and in general such a nice person! the place was enough what people need when exploring Volos.

The room is in a party and bar district. I would even say it is placed one two meters above a bar/ terrace/ club. We stayed in so many party/ loud neighbourhoods in other places but never it was soo close to a bar and with such an extremely loud music. The host offered to contact the club (mojito club) if they can play put he music down, but this did not change for the rest of the stay (stayed three nights altogether - Wednesday- Saturday). All in all, this is a place for you if: you dont plan to go to sleep before 3.30 am, if you do not mind sleeping literary next to a speaker or if you love having wax ear plugs (helped a little) when you sleep. We found no warning nor information about this in the accommodation description of the booking.com nor the host informed about this upon our arrival.

The property is a mere 15 min walk from the port, making it an ideal location. The studio that I stayed in was small but more than ample for 1 or 2 people who are staying a few nights. It was beautifully decorated and very clean and had a sufficient amount of pots, pans , cutlery and crockery. There was also clean towels and bedding, air conditioning, an iron and ironing board, a TV and a hair dryer. The shower/toilet room was immaculate and the shower was nice and powerful ... a very important feature to get right, which they did. The young lady who showed me the apartment spoke English and was very polite, explaining where everything was and how to operate the pull out bed ... important if you haven’t got a clue and feel very tired. All in all, it was a pleasant stay but - in my opinion - I don’t think it would be suited to anyone looking for a long stay in Volos as it could become quite claustrophobic. That said. My overall rating for this property would be 8/10

These are not complaints as such but: Firstly, there was no kettle in the room so I had to use the coffee maker to boil water. Not ideal when one needs a quick brew. Secondly. I would ask the owners to consider changing the pillows, as the ones supplies were incredibly hard. Now, I don’t normally let pillows bother me (and to be honest, I have never commented on same before) but when I say they were hard, I mean, like granite slabs. A little softer would have been perfect. Like I said, These 2 points are merely my personal observations and not complaints as there was nothing major to complain about.
