Zuri Kumarakom provided a great vacation stay for the extended family. With 6 adults and 5 kids, all enjoyed the place alike. The staff and their hospitality is the place’s best feature. Rooms are spacious and are well equipped for a family, with all amenities. The Restaurant is great , with delicious cuisines.

Swimming Pool is in dire need of attention and maintenance, to make it more enjoyable for the families.

Great location, breakfast was good, staff excellent and very helpful.

Some tiles in the private pool were loose. Might be a safety hazard if anyone cuts toes or fingers.

Slow service and consistent delays were the least of the troubles that I faced here. Two harrowing accidents topped off a litany of disappointments, completely shattering any hope of a pleasant stay. The first accident occurred when the extra bed provided in my room unexpectedly collapsed, causing the occupant to fall to the floor. It had faulty hinges. The replacement bed provided was in poor condition as well, with rusty areas and a torn leather headboard. Regrettably, the second accident was even more distressing. While traveling in the hotel buggy to our rooms, due to the jerky handling of the vehicle, my father was thrown onto the stoned path, resulting in a knee injury. On complaining to the hotel staff, they did drop us off at a nearby clinic, but the assistance ended there. To my astonishment, nobody from the hotel accompanied us to the hospital, nor did they take the initiative to inform the hospital staff about the nature of the guest's injuries. This just emphasizes their blatant negligence and disregard for guests' well being. I advise any and all potential guests against considering a stay at this property. Please do not fall for the false advertising. Booking.com did not fare any better either, as they were unresponsive towards the multiple emails I sent them.

Beautifully situated on a Lake Vembanad, the Presidential pool villas are superb. Although the weather is obviously hot, the wind coming off the lake makes it very pleasant. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and we thoroughly enjoyed ten days and nights just relaxing. The food was good and plentiful in the Lime Tree Restaurant. Very professional but friendly staff.

The Laguna Bass restaurant was spoilt by lack of ambiance and a very noisy extractor and should be rethought. The Bar is too big and not very cosy (bright lights and TV). unfortunately the Maya Spa wasn’t able to offer the Western treatments offered but Dr Alvin and his Team were very helpful trying to sort something out.

The F&B, both service and production, was outstanding. the teams were attentive, well informed about their menu and quick to respond. the food itself was excellent. Obada and the sous chef at the restaurant and the manager of the bar and seafood restaurant were absolute stars. housekeeping was also good, and kept the property spotless. and Quincy at the front desk was nice and helpful.

Alvin at the front desk is incompetent and unhelpful. There are maintenance issues at the property that need work - the kettle and fridge in our room did not work, the do not disturb button was stuck in the on position throughout our stay - which I highlighted multiple times. and there was general wear and tear at the property that needed repair/renovation. also, while the location was great, the roads leading there were being randomly closed and opened, so it would have been helpful for the front office to have called us the day before or the morning of our arrival to help us with the route. both the other places we stayed at were in touch with us on calls and WhatsApp to assist with location/route/parking throughout our journey.
