Where to start, the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were always available to answer any questions and help us if needed.. The roof top bar and infinity pool were amazing and the views / sunset was magical from there.. (Especially for the free afternoon tea) They arranged safe and cost effective taxi services who were very profession and trustworthy. The rooms were cleaned daily and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the location is perfect literally a few minutes walk to Pereybere beach which is one if not the best in Mauritius..

Nothing really.. If being picky the breakfast could be improved and a few more veggie / vegan options on the menu's but that is something the whole island could improve on.

First stop of our trip in the north of the island in an amazing location and exceptional hotel. The staff was really welcoming and helpful, they accommodate us and gave us the room early during the time of checking-in. We were really thankful for that especially after our long trip to arrive to Mauritius since we were exhausted. The room was really big, clean, spacious and with an amazing sea view. Buffet breakfast with a big variety of food and fresh food in the roof top terrace where we also enjoyed some nice cocktails. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel to go to the botanic garden and port Louis capital. We were sad to leave. We definitely recommend this place to everyone 😍

Misleading advertising. The " gym" and the "library " ..very broad definitions! Ants galore. Very noisy road . Also, only one of the three restaurants is functional. Lift broke down many times. Not a four star and the pictures do not reflect reality.

The buffet breakfast was amazing and had lots of options. The rooms were also beautiful and had an amazing view of the ocean.

The elevator kept on having issues throughout my stay. The staffs didn’t pay attention to details, like room decor and cake for a birthday surprise. There were birds littering the passages and some of the hotel restaurants weren’t open from the beginning of my stay till the end.

1. Lift got stuck and we left before it was fixed 2. Everything on the property is for sale including a bucket of ice. There are things that should be complimentary.. . They are not flexible when it is check out time. We were chased out of the room

The staff were really welcoming, I came from a 2 days flight I waited only 30mins to get my room even tho it was an early check in ,they made me feel at home away from home .Am myself a guest services manager in a hotel abroad and I must say that they exceeded my expectations as I came to Mauritius after 4 years short stay but awesome and value for money

The best moment at my staying was when i checked out, they gave me a wrong room and let me wait for 1 hour extra, they rushing in my room without permission 2-3 times a day, even at 10 PM they knock and rush in just to check the mini bar, very uncomfortable stay , and they insist heavly for check out they came to my room instead of calling, the internet wasnt working , i also requested for honeymoon set up and they confirmed via email. And when i arrived they seemed to not have any idea. Only location is good

I would like to start off that in my 5 weeks of my trip to Mauritius I've stayed@multiple other reservations throughbooking.com which were less stars than ocean V and I had an even better experience than then ocean view 1st and foremost we paid for a 1/2 board which includes breakfast and supper and when we were having our supper we would we assume that water would at least be included in all inclusive for a supper meal however at the end of our meal we were charged for one bottle of water which was 7 times the price of a bottle of water at at a local grocery store. We were never told that the water bottle would have been charged they just offered us water and gave it to us. Also also for the options associated with the menu that was included for our half board is not very many options available for someone to eat. Breakfast was good but supper for someone staying for 5 days and 4 nights there's not much to choose from you would have to eat the same thing over and over again after a few days based on the type of food you eat. Next issue is our room has a small Mini fridge which we put our drinks and some snack foods in to get cool however we noticed that the fridge was warm. We called to ask if they could come and take a look and fix possibly the problem and they basically said they cannot do it now someone will come tomorrow and no one ever came to fix our fridge we had to throw out most of our snacks and our drinks and water have been warmed this whole time period next issue we have a balcony with 2 Doors on each end that slide open and even if it's locked when you open one door the other 1 automatically opens a bit without us realizing it's open bugs and stuff are getting into our room. We have had multiple other bookings prior to our stay at ocean v which were a 2 start hotel which was way better than this. for the price we are paying which is aprx 11000 rupees per day we would excpect so much more. We were very unsatisfied.

The fruit juices were diluted at breakfast The fruit salad had gone bad at buffet If you are going to be an international hotel receiving guests and tourists from all over the world, include more international dishes on menu not just Mauritian food.

Breakfast and cleaning level. Seemingly, everything is ok, but when you look closely, you can see rust and scale in the bathroom, unwashed surfaces, dirty walls, dust, unwashed towels.

You will have the loud noises from the street right in front of you - the rooms are not well isolated. For a hotel of this price this ruins it for me as it will be hard to sleep through the noise.
