The building and the room were beautiful . The staff were engaging
That it doesn’t have a bar: restaurant with staff and customers to engage with, it makes it a bit soulless. for the price I feel customers should have the choice to engage or not, I m pleased I arrived on a Tuesday enjoyed the restaurant I would have been disappointed to arrive on a Wednesday for 2 nights.

Johan and Peter run a beautifully decorated Château, with fine modern art everywhere.
Our room was clean, comfortable, cozy and very well decorated.
Everyone in the staff is very kind.
Definitely a jewel in the heart of Chablis!

Excellent venue, design, style and scenery. Good location for the Chablis area. Johan was very kind and accommodating - there was a tiny confusion around rooms but all worked out without any stress. Restaurant was lovely.
The shower and water pressure in the upstairs King Suite bathroom was lacking, but functional enough. The building had tons of historic charm so minor inconveniences about temperature and water were fine.

we didn’t know the hotel’s restaurant was closed when we booked. there is no restaurants around this property in walking distance.

dinner was excellent, pool staff extremely polite and helpful. everything was very clean. we had to leave early as ferry time brought forward the staff were very accommodating with this and we had a good breakfast prior to setting off
would have ordered a drink at the poolside but was not clear if/how we could do this. Would have preferred slightly cooler room (no aircon) but wasn't too bad.

Chateau de la Resle was the PERFECT experience. Johan and the rest of the staff were so attentive to us, and even more helpful. Everything that Johan suggested to us was delicious, so fun, and an amazing experience. Eat dinner on the property! It truly was a culinary experience. And the rooms… I travelled with a group and we absolutely loved both suites we stayed in. They truly thought of everything!! I can not recommend a stay here more!!

Lovely tranquil country setting. Casual atmosphere, charming helpful hosts. Beautifully renovated and decorated buildings. Large pool with plenty of sun lounges. Big comfortable room. Good breakfast. Outstanding healthy Saturday dinner. Convenient to Chablis, Auxerre and other lovely villages.
