the location, price and the bigger bathroom.Saffron restaurant was nice but abit slow on service.

the sink was not too clean.The directory book does not have the numbers for reception clearly shown and neither does the telephone.There is no bed and breakfast menu and the milk pods provided was just two as opposed to 4.No USB plug points for chargers.

the location and my uncle had his 80th birthday at the hotel on the 11th floor. we decided to stay at the hotel with our kids, so that during the function we were able to check on them.

when we checked in to our room 303, I noticed numerous hairs from a previous guest. the linen was not changed properly. I called reception and they sent house keeping us and they apologised and moved us into room 304. we settled in to the room and rested. when we went to shower we noticed that our bathroom didn’t have a shower door and the rubber was loose and kept hitting us. the towel rack was also broken in the bathroom and the toilet was blocked and didn’t flush properly because the entire mechanism was broken. the manager called us again to ask if we could move to room 312, I advised him that unfortunately we are late for the function and we can move later or use the room to shower in the morning. when getting back to the room after the function our room lights wouldn’t turn off, we called reception at 1am and they had to send main tenant who struggled and also couldn’t switch it off. he left and came back a little later and eventually managed to put them off. when we checked into our second room, I called room service for sparkling water and was advised that they can only supply small bottles and not 1,5l as it not hotel policy. I called reception and they put me through to a supervisor who eventually put me through to a manager which told me they don’t keep big bottles of sparkling water. I said ‘ok’ please send 6 bottles of small sparkling water to my room. after a while I get a call from someone else advising me that they can send 1 l sparkling bottle because they do have. we also booked a family room with two single beds for ours kids, it was surprising to find that the tv in the rooms had no children’s channels (Nickelodeon, Netflix cartoon networks efc) also Wi-Fi doesn’t work from the room the main problem was the very poor security. you can enter the lifts without using your cards and enter the floor with the rooms without any access key. when we returned from the function there were people lost on the third floor looking for bathrooms

The treadmills at the gym are almost unusable

The bed was not comfortable, the tall lamp light did not work and no Wifi.
