A lovely and welcoming couple of owners. Their English is limited but enough to communicate OK. Beautiful , old property with character and with small number of rooms. Aircon and wifi worked well. Bathroom large and well equipped. Able to store luggage there on last day. Breakfast is continental and fresh. Best facility is the garden and pool, really quiet and relaxing with beautiful landscaping and plenty of shade available. beach a short stroll away;

The location is a long way outside Marseilles city and costs approx 20 Euros one way in Uber if you are without a car. Bus required changes. Apart from 1 small restaurant in a side street which was excellent, the eating opportunities are good quality but situated on a busy , noisy main road. Not a all the owners fault but perhaps not an ideal hotel if everything you want to do is in the city itself

Fantastic oasis in the middle of the city. Great beach around, feels very local. The host by the owners was extra ordinary. Simplicity, pure and personal.

This villa is a hidden treasure. It is quiet and calm with a beautiful well maintained garden and pool. breakfast is delicious. It is run by a lovely couple and it was perfect for a little girly getaway. It is located very close to the beach as well as plenty of restaurants.

Breakfast was amazing! The yard was beautiful as well, wish we could have enjoyed it more but we were on a tight schedule.

Everything about the villa was amazing. We were welcomed extremely well by the owners of the villa , explaining to us the way around, and how the villa could be used to our best interest. The terrace room we booked was unbelievable exceeding expectations on size, along with the incredible views of both mountains and the sea! The garden was also beautiful, with it being extremely peaceful and quiet at all points of the day. Starting from breakfast until we went to bed. The breakfast was served at a good time in the morning as well not rushing you to get out of bed and it was excellent along with the lovely traditional service. I would 100% recommend this villa to anyone else thinking of Visiting(also a 5 minute walk from the beach with superb restaurants surrounding it)

The access to the parking area was a challenge for our large estate car, needing the help of the owner. A larger vehicule would not be able to park on-site nor nearby.

The hosts were fabulous and sorted our problem with no issues

Unable to stay

The setting is beautiful, with an in-ground pool surrounded by attractive Mediterranean vegetation. Grounds are immaculate and refined.

The first drawback is that the access to the villa is hard to find (narrow streets and Google was little help in locating the front door). A decent map of local streets on the booking page would help. Second, the car entrance is unbelievably tight and requires careful maneuvering to pass through a a narrow passageway.to reach the interior courtyard, where parking is tight. Third, the WIFI is extremely unstable and undependable, and hard to re-enable, as each time you add the network, it is hit or miss as to whether the connection will hold. It also fades based on location. Fourth, the proprietors have a weird policy - not spelled out in the booking - that there is a 30 E cleaning fee upon departure. The terms are, the quarters have to be "move-in ready." So, you can either clean the place to a spotless standard (no cleaning supplies are provided), or you can leave your mess and your 30 E for "la bonne." We paid this after a 6 day stay, so I don't know how much people are charged - if at all - for short stays, but we were more than surprised to have this fee announced to us. That whole arrangement struck us as strange.

We stayed in an apartment in the garden of this beautiful villa which is close to the beach 40 minutes by excellent public transport from the Vieux Port. one can take a bus south to les Goudes and walk from there. The owners of the property were very attentive and helpful.

The breakfast atmosphere.

The noise coming upstears. On a rainy and windy night when the restaurants were closed we couldn't eat our pizzas by the breakfast table. We had to eat it on the bed in th room.

A hidden gem with lovely staff

We enjoyed our stay here! The hosts were very nice, accommodations clean and comfortable, pool great, parking wonderful, and pretty! Breakfast was great too!

The hosts are welcoming, kind and helpful. Their villa is absolutely stunning, and decorated with a lot of taste. Merci pour l'accueil, nous recommandons cet endroit pour passer un agréable moment à l'écart de l'agitation de la ville.
