If you want a stop over with character and charm this is the place for you, very friendly host and a lovely place to relax after a day touring the area, I will return.

We stayed the top floor, so it was very hot at night.

A warm welcome and a very attractively quirky building. We enjoyed the breakfast especially: our hosts had taken more trouble than usual to provide something a bit different from the norm.

Very friendly and helpful staff without being over bearing. Very large room with a comfy bed. Plenty of off-road parking. Excellent breakfast. Perfectly placed for visiting Fontevraud Abbey and Saumur.

Everything. Lovely ancient home, updated with comfortable, attractive amenities. Spacious Rooms accommodated families. Delicious home made crepes for breakfast, along with other breakfast offerings made a great way to start the day. wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful area.

Delighted, through and through. Wonderful host, huge rooms, historic "castle" feel, generous breakfast, lovely small garden for relaxing, right on the la Loire à vélo route so perfect for cyclists.

I would give a 10 score if the location were off the main road. It is not too busy but passing traffic does chip away at the overall perfection.

A very unusual, quirky and comfortable place, superbly clean with a beautiful garden in from of the property. The property is conveniently located for a short stay on the way to Calais, a welcoming host who made our stay very pleasant. Thank you very much!

Check in was super smooth, and we got great advice on where to go for dinner. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the crepes, and the homemade jams as much as we enjoyed the conversation with our host.

Everything was fine. The only thing I didn’t like was to carry a suitcase up the stairs (but it was a very minor inconvenience). The place is lovely.

This place offers large rooms with interesting furnishing. The breakfast is really good for French standards, and is served in very nice place resembling vine cellar. Free enclosed parking is an additional benefit. Very nice owners are the biggest advantage here.

The location - out of town and next to the road - can be a minor disadvantage for some, advantage for others.
