The location is right in the heart of the town. There is a good, well lit car park close by at Les Halles shopping centre. Plenty of places to eat or drink. Air conditioning was welcome.

The seating in the room was stylish but uncomfortable and the view was of a courtyard at the rear of the building.

Great location near all the restaurants and free parking only 5 mins walk away. Very beautiful and comfortable apartment with secluded garden terrace highly recommend

The accommodation is above a lovely cafe run by the host. The location is excellent just off the main square close to numerous shops and restaurants and only a minute walk away from the river. The actual apartment was a good size with a good size bedroom, separate lounge and bathroom / toilet. The apartment was beautifully presented with a stylish mix of old / new furnishings. It appears the bathroom has been recently fitted / redecorated and has quality fittings. Everything was really clean and overall really comfortable. Very good air conditioning system which was very welcome with temperature being in excess of 30 degrees. The host Stephanie was excellent. Very friendly and extremely helpful in recommending places to visit etc. The coffee shop is also excellent. All in all an excellent place to stay and would definitely return if we come back to Saumur.

The quirky and private nature of the room yet so central in the town. The central courtyard is gorgeous. Room large and comfortable. Great added extras particularly the toiletries.

Only gripe is the intermittent buzzing noise from the otherwise efficient air conditioning unit.

The apartment was comfortable and very welcoming. We loved being above the Maison Gaspard cafe and Stephanie & Olivier opened early for coffee and breakfast for us. The location was very convenient in the center of town and free parking was available about 5 min walk up the road. There was a bit of noise from the street life below late at night, but earplugs easily solved that for us. We enjoyed a great stay at Maison Gaspard!

Exceptional! Beautifully decorated, great location. Very friendly hosts, who gifted us a bottle of sparkling wine for our honeymoon and provided great local recommendations. Even provided a safe garage for us to park our hire bikes. Would definitely recommend ☺️

Everything was amazing in this apartment. Very well designed, beautiful place, very quiet, yet in the center of the town. Really comfortable bed, great contact with the owner, no restrictions about checking time. We recommended it to our friends and we would definitely come again

Location was incredible, walked out onto a Saturday market on the door step, yet so quite in the room you would have never known. Room was so clean and well finished. Would 100% come back

Really classy little flat in great location. Great terrace courtyard for breakfast or just chilling. And Stephanie the host always on hand with advice on local trips and anything else you needed. Better than any air BnB I've ever stayed in. Recommended. And Saumur beautiful too...

The air con unit made a noise every few minutes.

Maison Gaspard was one of the best apartments we’ve ever stayed at. The apartment was large, beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed, air con, lovely shower room and in a wonderful newly converted building. The location was exceptional - very central with great parking a minute’s walk away. The host, Stephanie, was delightful - friendly and helpful. She runs a gorgeous cafe on the ground floor of the building. We would return in a heart beat - highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike - it was a fabulous stay

A stunning apartment in Saumur which we used as a base to explore the Loire Valley. The host Stephanie was incredibly accommodating, I was in need of a seamstress to alter a dress for me and Stephanie found someone to come to my apartment on their day off to pin the dress and return it again two days later. Nothing is too much trouble, very friendly staff who had great recommendations of where to eat and visit.

Would highly recommend Maison Gaspard. Perfect for a short stay in Saumur as centrally located, simply but stylishly furnished and access to a shared terrace a great bonus in the summer. Stephanie and her team gave us a warm welcome, nothing was too much effort and their suggestions of places to visit were helpful. Huge and delicious breakfast. Cheap parking is just round the corner.

What a gem of a place! Beautiful apartment right in the center of the old town. Air condition in every room (including bedrooms). I can hardly think of a better place to stay in Saumur (which by itself is a beautiful old town in the Loire valley). The old town square with an abundance of restaurants and cafes are literally just around the corner. Plenty of shopping opportunities in the long, narrow streets nearby. This is the ultimate French country town experience!

nice, stylish rooms, comfortable bed

because of the nature of the property, it felt a bit impersonal - in our case we never met the owner. When we stayed, a large group of friends was staying in the other rooms and celebrated in the small courtyard overlooked by the rooms - nice people but also very loud! rooms had a slightly musty smell. Especially because there is no breakfast included, a bit too expensive for what it is.

Everything was amazing. We loved the design of the place, big windows with linen curtains, the spacious and comfortable room, the patio. The hosts are kind, friendly and welcoming. The location is the best that you can think of, right at the central square of the city. Also, we took a breakfast, which was very festive and delicious.

The apartment is beautiful and Stephanie is very attentive to every detail as to how to access the apartment or to prepare breakfast if desired.

All good, just to be aware that it is a bathtub with a hand shower.

What a gem! Stephanie’s apartments are absolutely beautiful and we received such a warm welcome. The decor is gorgeous and location couldn’t be better. The apartments are above her tea / interiors shop and we had a delish breakfast there in the morning. We couldn’t recommend it more highly and will be back!
