Location is convenient to the main port

It is super clean, they pick you up at the port when the ferry arrives, they have transport between the beach and the hostel. I asked the owner about snorkeling tours and he kindly sent me information about a nice snorkeling tour. They have a big space for drying clothes and is super quite at night, so you can rest really good.

I wanted to see the sunset at the beach, but they do not have transportation in the afternoon, only mornings, so I had to walk and at night it was a little bit scary. I could not use the wifi and there was no person to ask about it until the next morning when I woke up, the wifi was fixed.

My stay at Kerama Backpacker was exceptional. The welcoming atmosphere, accommodating staff, and convenient marine center on Aharen Beach made for a memorable experience. The owner's efforts to ensure a smooth trip and assistance with ferry bookings were greatly appreciated. Highly recommended.

Friendly and helpful staff (Morino, Laura and the helper, forgot his name). Nice roof to look at the stars. Clear rules.

I lived the stay a lot ! The people are super nice they speak english well and they can give you a drive to the beach or Tokashiki port ! I highly recommend!

The kitchen does not have spoons

For the price it is a good option only option on the island for budget . The will bring you to the beach , and also pickup . That is really handy . Also it is really easy to hitchhike because people know you are staying in bed packers . Small community. They are located near ferry terminal, they will pick you up and bring you straight to beach . Luggage can be stored in beach store for arriving day . The have a free washing machine . Work with people that work / stay , they speak good English that is nice and ask how was your day . Because of tyfoon I had to shorten my stay with 1 day , that was free of charge . Appreciated that . Some nice restaurants in area ( if open ) .

the place was fully booked And to crowded for so many people especially when a family of 6 books a family room . Room is very small. Mattress needs a upgrade .Missing a locker for big bag .Sharing kitchen you can hear people speaking that stands up early morning ( no rule for that ). It can be bit cleaner in my opinion , because so many people toilet roll and soap was empty ( no spare ) . That would have been seen / checked by staff. Needs a deep clean especially the bathroom , but think to busy to arrange always fully booked . They have many rules , when you arrive you will get detailed explanation. Pickup is really strict would be nice bit later and bringing time sometime because so small area difficult to be on time and also shower etc . Feels a bit stressful especially in morning . Not many restaurants are open in are .

Shuttlebus to the beach each day and many opportunities to go snorkling or else. The staff of the hostel were all very friendly and welcoming. The hostel itself is in a great position outside of the small poer city.

The room was clean but in general not really new. I guess it depends on your preferences but for me it was not very comfortable. Also, the shower was very dirty and had a lot of mold.
