Quiet peaceful location. Hot tub was fun. Pubs and takeaway only a short drive away. Beautiful scenery around the area.

Wasn't the easiest to find. Lodge is hidden away up hill and clearer directions are required. Electricity cost a further £35 but I know it's expensive for energy and we were in the hot tub lots of the time. Shower room was a bit dated.

Cosy, jacuzzi was a nice bonus

Bit of mould in en suite bathroom, could use a little spruce up.

We had a lovely weekend away, the lodge had everything we needed we really enjoyed the hot tub and indoor heated pool! Simon was great, there for any help if needed! We would stay again

Quiet location surrounded by country lanes Ideal base for visiting NT Chirk, Erddig & Powis, Llangollen & UNESCO sites

The narrow access drive is through a gate, with sharp blind bends down into a nearly dark dip & up a steep incline, then you emerge into daylight where 4 cabins are in a line on a hill. Your hearts in your mouth in case someone is coming the other way & prevented us going out after dark. Booking.com says the price is the final amount. Hoseasons invoice on the confirmation email states you will be charged for electricity. We saw no-one during our week’s stay, just had texts from ‘Simon’ re the electricity charge & a local event. There wasn’t an information file about the property just a pile of manuals in a drawer. We saw signs in the dark dip on the access road to a swimming pool & gym but it wasn’t inviting & we had no info. Luckily we knew how to work a halogen hob but could only get 1 or 2 tv channels as we couldn’t work out the SKY remote. Didn’t use the hot tub due to the electricity charge. Couldn’t use the oven as it belched black fumes when turned on.
