We loved our villa with its private pool,the yoga was so special and breakfast overlooking the sea was sublime.

When we booked, we didn’t have a sense of how close to the beach, restaurants, and shops we would be. At Horizon, were right where we wanted to be and we plan to stay at Horizon the next time we vacation in Santa Teresa! There was a comfy hanging day bed on the balcony patio (see picture) that my daughter would take a nap on, and I would go out in the mornings and read my book there.

Such a dreamy place, I really liked this hotel. After a day here I already felt relaxed and by day 2 I was fully immersed in the yoga-pool-beach-smoothie life. The hotel sits higher on a hill so they have this amazing view of the ocean above the canopy. The pool and cafe veranda is situated to face the sunset over the ocean. Spent a whole day here one day. Gorgeous garden jungle all around you. Yoga takes place multiple times a day on an open-air platform that faces the sunset as well. This was an absolute dream. Really excellent teachers, beginner friendly but moves at a pace that intermediate-level yogis would enjoy. The sound bath yin yoga while the sun was setting was really a memorable experience. Accommodations: holy cow this felt luxurious. I stayed in a cabina with my own personal pool! A bi-level apartment with a kitchen, two balconies nestled in the trees, a swing daybed, two bathrooms, huge bedroom, and AC! Or the option to keep all the windows open for a refreshing cross-breeze. I cooked in the kitchen and had everything I needed, including coffee for the morning. But also had a couple meals at the cafe and must say, the food was delicious. Healthy, tasty, and bountiful. LOVED the staff here. Everyone was super friendly and relaxed, like they enjoyed their jobs. Which hell, I would too if this were it.

Only didn't like that this was so booked out that I couldn't stay longer!

What's makes a good hotel great is the staff. The owners really went the extra mile to help me retrieve my suitcase I had left by mistake at the previous hotel and organised for a contact of theirs to collect it. They saved me a lot compared to what the previous hotel were trying to charge to deliver it to me. The food was really good with great Vegan options and again, the owners and staff were super helpful and friendly, making time to chat with us. Bravo Horizon Hotel and Yoga!

We rented a villa with private swimming pool. The villa was great and ideal for a family of 4. We enjoyed the privacy when staying at the villa and the proximity to beaches, rentals and restaurants. Great service and responsiveness by the team. We strongly recommend it.
