It was very quiet, so we were able to have a food sleep. It's close to the plaza and some nice restaurants and cafes. The staff was very nice and super helpful with tips and booking transport.

Was a bit tiring to get in/out as the entrance it's a bit of a hill. The room only had a window facing a corridor, so it wasn't well ventilated. Room could have been a bit cleaner. The room is not insulated, so you can hear if people is talking loudly around.

Lovely owner and staff who were helpful when our bus arrived really late from Medellin. The owner was helpful in sorting out our laundry and giving us advice on activities. The bed was comfy and the place is a few minutes walk from the main square. Good value for money and we ended up staying an extra night.

The room was quite small and felt a bit damp, it was very hard to dry anything which is difficult as it rains a lot in Salento.

Hector is an amazing host and take care of his client! We really recommend this hostel in the center but not next to the noise! Lots of restaurants around! Amazing sleep as it's really quiet! We recommend 100%

Do not bother with the room with the view, like we did: it's tiny and very, very damp.

Everything! From the warm welcome we got as we landed, the beautiful house and gardens, the comfortable bed, the offers to help us explore the area, the cooking demonstration and the lovely family that runs the place this place is a fantastic find! The location is just off the main square perfect for exploring Salento or racing up the hill to get the early bus to Corcora! Do not miss this great place and definitely avail of the fabulous cooking lesson from Fernando! He's an excellent chef that taught us all about Colombian cuisine and gave us an opportunity to sample local food, while teaching us how to make a traditional Colombian dish with a few cocktails thrown in! Great fun!

Room was a little damp because there was water leaking from under the sink but the family have assured us they are working on fixing it.

Hostel was quiet and very close to the center. Very friendly staff.

Best house in Salento! Fernando is just sweet and available for anything… he likes chatting and entertaining. The house is located close to the forest and this creates the perfect peaceful environment. The bedrooms are wonderful and the property is 2 minutes from the main square and to anything else in Salento. I loved Fernando and the location. There was a special charm and atmosphere to the property too. The location is just off from the center of everything. Just perfect with a stream and nature surrounding.

I liked everything and this is only one of two properties that I will return to, in Colombia. I like to try different and new but won't in Salento. But this is rustic and basic in many respects. Like most hotels even, in Colombia, you won't have any climate control. That may be rough on the hottest or coolest of nights.

Good value for money, Good location, Owners ,who live and work at the property, are very helpful and accommodating. The accommodation is a bit set back from road so it pretty quiet. The owner offers cooking classes which are informative and interesting.

The rooms could have a full length mirror.

Fernando and Paula are very kind hosts. It's a lovely quiet place yet very close to the central square.
