Grote kamer , ideaal voor grote gezinnen maar maak niks vuil of kapot. Voor 2 nachten moest ik achterlijk veel borg betalen. (Rond 60 euro) en ze vonden een bloedvlekje op het dekbedovertrek. Hier wilden ze 20 euro van mijn borg afhalen. Want speciaal linnen (was gewoon katoen)etc. Uiteindelijk zelf voor ze uitgewassen, dus nee, ik raad hen niet aan.

- Although it is located in gurney, gurney plaza and gurney paragon are definitely not within walking distance. You’ll still need to drive or take grab and most of the time, the road is very congested - the property is not properly maintained and fairly old - the pots and pans are old and scratched, hair dryer is spoilt. The air conditioner in the second bedroom emits a smelly musky smell indicating that it has not been serviced for a long time - there’s no place to hang our laundry and the air drying function of the washing machine doesn’t dry our laundry properly.

Hosts were communicative over WhatsApp and accommodated to my early check-in request. The apartment was large and had four double beds that could fit up to 8 persons, which was plenty since there were only 4 of us. Two of the lights in the living room/lower floor sleeping area were not working so I informed the hosts about it, and they promptly fixed it the next day. Apartment was clean and the kitchenette was well stocked with utensils and mugs.

The lower floor toilet was a bit dark and small. The upper floor toilet was larger but the lack of a shower curtain or glass door meant that the water would splash over to the floor at the toilet bowl area. The apartment building had a sheltered drop off that was only available to residents, so our Grab car drivers could only stop outside at the non-sheltered area, which was a slight problem since it was raining a lot during our stay.

The unit is clean with modern furnishings. We love the bedrooms with king/queen size beds. The Seaview is awesome. We get to enjoy a wonderful sun rise from the comfort of our bedrooms. Internet is great, there is TV box for our viewing pleasure. Location is great. Plenty of restaurants nearby and booking a Grab to various destinations is very convenient.

Some of the pillows are too thin for our liking but other than that it has been a very pleasant stay.

Near to shops in town. This is convenient.

The downstairs bedroom is a makeshift w curtains around. The shower downstairs is on top of the toilet. The toilet brush was still stained & dirty when we first checked in.

There was a mosque nearby. Light sleeper like me will get awaken every day at 5.55am. Way too early. Bathrooms does not have enough hooks or shelf space for putting toiletries and clothes. 2 bedroom apartment was a double storey unit which the booking details failed to highlight. This cause a problem as we are traveling with old folks with walking problems. We also need to dispose our garbage ourselves as there is no daily housekeeping and the windows in the unit cannot be open too wide to air the apartment. The rubbish bin is outside the building by the roadside which is very inconvenient.

My family had a wonderful time staying in Sunrise Gurney. The condo was clean, spacious and cosy. The beds are very comfortable and we loved that the room is facing the sea. Location is good too as it is situated along Gurney Drive and within walking distance to eateries. Value for money. Will definitely recommend to friends or revisit.

Philip was extremely helpful throughout, sending us directions, check-in instructions, greeting us on arrival and helping as needed.

TV free to air channels were not fully available. No complimentary tea or coffee provided at all. Ground floor bathroom poorly designed. Taking a shower means wetting the toilet roll completely and also the floor.
