The host was very accomodating. Provided with early checkin, provided a map with his personel suggestions and recommendations. Made delicious breakfast to our preference. Nice balcony, nice yard to chill and the whole property had an Italian charm to it. Really enjoyed and totally recommend it. Nice location with perfect public transport connections to venice.

Great host Luca, beautiful, old, italian villa, fully furnished with comfortable bed, very quiet at night, delicious breakfast, direct bus to Venice in front of the house, free and safe parking…I could write three pages about our experience in Casa Lunia. Definitely worth booking!

Good connection to Venice. Great villa. Very clean and with an extremely friendly host from whom you get a lot of useful tips. Breakfast was also very tasty.

Beautiful house, with a nice garden that must be a joy in summer. Very kind host, who took the time not only to explain the usual tourist information, but also really gave us a deeper perspective on the area.

The Host, Lucca was incredible and fantastic. First thing he did was ask if we'd been to Venice before and since it was our first, he sat us down and gave us the full and comprehensive lowdown. I can attest had he not done so, our Venice experience would have been totally different. The guy has made his own professional map which includes everything on travel to/fro and the joy of Venice. The house and land where this stay is at was built and purchased by his Grandfather in the late 1800s, it is serene, rustic, has character and was the best place we stayed at on this Italy trip, out of 6 locations. The breakfast that he prepared was above and beyond the norm and his presence is impecable. Great Location, great stay.

We were looking forward to staying at this guesthouse, and we were not disappointed! Luca, the owner, made you feel like home. He gave us a lot of information regarding Venice, he even prepared a personalized and professional map on Venice, with all the info you need while you are there. The guesthouse was amazing, spacious, clean, with all the antique furniture. It is located in a great area, 2 min from the bus station which takes you directly to Venice, and 350m away from Piazza Erminio Ferretto, where you can find a lot of great restaurants, bars, and many other things. The breakfast was prepared by Luca, which was very delicious. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Breakfast was not a buffet but was personalised to your requirements. Location was excellent. Entertainment/Retail centre of Mestre is only a 5 minute walk away. Convenient transport links to Venice & Treviso airport. Cheaper alternative to staying in Venice but only a 25minute bus/tram ride away.

There was nothing I didn't like.

One of the best accommodations i have ever spent time during my last decades. Our host was a fantastic man. His hospitality, advises, support was exceptional. If You want to know more about Venice, its history, facts, life, just ask him. The property has a very nice garden. The room was very comfortable, clean, convenient. Our host prepared rich and very delicious breakfasts. Parking is inside the property garden. Public transportation is in the nearby to Venice. The maximum 10 points can't express how satisfied we are. I strongly recommend this accommodation :-)

where can I start? from the beginning, it was clear that this would be a wonderful experience. The host clearly cares about the region and wants his guests to enjoy the area and to learn about it a bit as well (as much as they want). this is not a faceless hotel or b&b. this is a labor of love that the host had made and imparted to his guests. the breakfast was always superb, the room is spacious and well apportioned, and the location is unbeatable. the property is charming and offers all amenities that we needed. in my countless (4 decades) of travel, including memorable luxury resorts, I can state that this is among the top experiences on travel. we felt at home, which is no small feat by any host, and for that Luca, grazie mile.

I thought about how to describe Casa Lunia Guesthouse for days. It's not like a hotel or airbnb. More like staying at a friend's house. Luca is very very enthusiastic. Every morning, he cooks for us himself. We chat and he makes travel plans for us like friends. When luca was away, his mother and sonia prepared us croissants and yogurt, cereal, and cut fruit. The villa is very beautiful. The room is very spacious and bright. The furniture is classic, like living in an old European movie. If you like old European houses, or want to experience living with Italian friends, then I highly recommend this place. Of course, the old house is generally soundproof, but there are only two suites, and we and our neighbors have no influence on each other. By the way, this house is great for people traveling with pets, and there are large gardens for dogs. The best part is the location of the house. It is located in the center of the old town of Mestre, just a 5-minute walk from Piazza Ferretto. There are also supermarkets, cinemas, bakeries, and very good seafood restaurants nearby. We don't want to drive to Venice. The direct station to Venice is almost at the door, less than 3 minutes walk. Very convenient. Thanks to the Luca family for the hospitality. Next time we go to Venice, we would like to stay here again.

Amazing location and the place itself has a lot of charm! Luca and Sonia were the best hosts I’ve ever met - exceptionally welcoming and gave so many great tips for visiting Venice! I’m sure our wouldn’t be as great if we stayed elsewhere.

Authentic Italian house, beautiful yard, authentic furniture

Stunning Palace in Venice A beautiful villa with a nice garden, fantastic modern and antique decorations, appliances, very large cosy room (some 40m2 with windows to the garden, beautiful bathroom, parking, welcoming host - all in the center of Mestre, easy reachable by foot, close to all transportation to Venice, Treviso, anywhere in the region. Loved my experience, stayed for 3 days, will be happy to stay for longer.

Loved everything but lack of sea view was a minus.

Perfect Location for a trip to Venice by car. Piazzale Roma can be reached easily by bus or tram in 15 minutes. Luca is the best host you can imagine, he gives a lot of advice and help to find the best places to visit! The breakfast he serves is delicious, any special wishes are taken care of. We will definetely come back!

10/10 is really not enough in this case. Luca is a great host and the place is fantastic, very clean and beautiful. Location is also great, around 15 minutes by bus to Venice. Owner has a huge knowledge (which he likes to share) and is very passionate about Venice. Cornetto and Coffee were the best ;)

Luca is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had opportunity to meet, if not the best. He got us even more interested in Venice than we were before we came with his storytelling and advices, he sat and talked with us while we enjoyed the breakfast that was delicious and fresh, he let us pet his dog Barrone and he was always available for all the questions we had. The house and surroundings are beatiful, apartment is cozy, clean and spacious, location easy to find and less than 20 minutes away from Venice with available parking. We would definitely recommend Casa Lunia to everyone and we’ll surely return some day :-)

Nice place, convenient location and the best host in the area!

Luca, the host, is extremely friendly and helpful. The room as well as the common area are very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious! In general, the experience feels extremely authentic! The best part is the guesthouse's own map of Venice with recommended restaurant, sights and walking route through Venice. This has made our experience of Venice just perfect. The map and its content was presented to us upon arrival so that we felt ready to explore Venice within minutes after arriving at the guesthouse. The location is pleasantly reached by car. Parking at the guesthouse is free. The bus (less than 200m away) takes you to the old town within 20-30min. If we come back to Venice, we'll definitely stay here again!

Casa Lunia is a very nice place in the centre of Mestre close to public transport, restaurants, shops and other facilities. The house is beautiful with large comfortable rooms and a common room with lots of books and information. The host Luca prepared great breakfasts and he helped a lot in getting around in Venice. We enjoyed our week in the guesthouse very much, and we can certainly recommend it!

Great location, very safe and quiet. Gated private parking, perfect to leave the car. Very close to bus stop for frequently running direct bus to Venice. Extremely friendly host, always willing to share insider "off the beaten track" tips and infos for Venice and Mestre. Amazing room and house, yummy breakfast. Will definitely stay here again next time I travel to Venice.

What's there not to say about Casa Lunia? The property is beautiful, gated, and didn't even feel like I was in the middle of a city. Luca was an exceptional host and was very friendly and helpful even before arrival. I mentioned I was going to take a bus to Venice right after my arrive, when he said he would get my bus ticket in advance, saving me precious time. He was very passionate sharing tips about visiting Venice and even supplied a map, custom made with a route he recommended to see the best of what Venice has to offer. Breakfast the next morning was perfect before the long drive home, consisting of fruits, juices, coffee, and bread. I couldn't recommend this place more. I was not bribed to make this statement ;). I'll be back if I ever pass through Northern Italy again.

This is a great property with an amazing host. Luka sat with us for perhaps 30 minutes going over his insiders guide to Venice. We used his restaurant recommendation and had a delicious meal. Definitely would stay here again!
