Room - was poorly cleaned, beds badly prepared, queen size bed not even centred in the room so bedhead not lined up with uncomfortable bed/BASE, with very large sheets, no cover on doona only a loose sheet thrown over the top. inside window sills and door opening very dirty full of rubbish/dust, cupboards badly cleaned, rusted clothes horse, bad ironing board and iron not usable - full of dirty black substance, did not offer to replace even though they were asked. Front door we had to call for help three times as it could not be opened freely, fridge door broken so to open fridge one scratched his/her knuckles every time, sliding doors to patio needed to be forced to open and shut, under sink - cockroaches and they would travel to bench top-Customer support were told,nothing happened.Poor selection water drinking glasses very cheap hotch potch no two the same. we were ot interested in wine glasses. Sofas and dining chairs dirty and badly stained, springs/padding badly worn out and uncomfortable. Table tops all stained and worn out. Seriously this apartment is not anywhere near worth $520.00 per night compared with equally as good location a three bedroom beautiful pristine apt. my friends were staying-$530.00 per night it seems like an absolute total aberration & so unfai-we just wanted what we had used before pandemic in same property which was so well maintained two floors above this one.adding salt to injury staff were totally non caring as they looked into things with a supercilious smile on their faces most times we even had the gall to ask for 1 hour extension check out as our flight was mid afternoon-the answer was a flat NO - sort yourselves out is what she meant - left bags in an open room with absolutely NO SECURITY - what sort of Accommodation are these people running.

Cleanliness, Better furniture, Better Bed - we take a 2 bedroom apartment purely to have extra room and not because others stay. When room was serviced after 1 week it was a slap dash job - had asked for sheets to fit bed properly that went on deaf ears Iron delivered worse than one in room so did not accept it. Reasonable quality drinking glasses. We do not cook or heat up food so kitchen was not used but would not have done so as everything looked old and tired. Better caring staff - not with a silly grin on their faces and laughing behind our backs. We have travelled lots in Australia and overseas but this accommodation was at the low end of the scale.

Loved the location and the pool Beds were comfortable

Our apartment didn’t provide pool towels- only bath towels to take to the pool/beach A few things needed updating- the towel rack and toilet paper holder had fallen off the wall Rips in the outdoor lounge

Great pool in lovely setting. Rooms very nice with lovely balcony outlook.

Ocean view room & close to all amenities , including restaurants, beach & kayaking

The room was a little tired, needed an update on furniture, curtains & needs a thorough clean including behind the sofa , glass on balcony balustrade.

The amenities and the whole property was very well kept and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The pool could’ve been warmer, it was very very cold. The bed as a little uncomfortable.

The first room we were shown into was below expectations. It was on road side, very unattractive view and smelt as though smokers had been there. We went and spoke to the wonderful Fiona and she immediately offered two alternatives. We ended up with a lovely view of pool area and were very happy. Fionna was outstandingly helpful and kind to us during our stay at Palm Cove -truly went above and beyond!

The decor of rooms is tired somewhat but loved having two double beds and two bathrooms with excellent hot water.
