Good location, awesome breakfast and friendly staff.

Our first night wasn't calm enough because of the loud music on the streets. We didn't know that Salvador would be celebrating the independence day on our arrival. It wasn't the Pousada's fault though. Tip for the staff: make sure that the guests are aware of any kind of celebration going around the pousada. 😉👍 The rest of the nights was very smoothly 😌 🙌 .

The room is comfy.

The bathtub was lacking maintenance. The location is nice but it can be dangerous late at night and the noise from the bars nearby can be disturbing. But for me, the worst thing was the breakfast since you have to schedule a 30 minute timebox for it and you have to leave the table after that for the next guest. Terrible experience for the price.

This hotel is wonderful! Abigail welcomed us so warmly and took very good care of us throughout our stay. All of the other staff are friendly and helpful as well. The bed is super comfortable, great shower, beautiful view from our balcony, and breakfast is delicious! Just steps away from restaurants, bars, and landmarks of Pelorinho. We can’t wait to come back and see our friends of the hotel. Thank you for everything!!

A lot of noise from the reception both late evening and very early morning. Air con unit didn’t work well.

Perfect location to explore Pelourinho. Simple but functional room with air co, good bed etc. Friendly staff.

I had different rooms on 2 stays First room was small and smelly second room was larger and bathroom was better clean, in the heart of the historical city amazing staff

Very noisy, guests arrive in the middle of the night, small bed, first room had a uncomfortable bathroom

only little thing is that I prefer 1 hour for my breakfast to enjoy and relax. As it is a small place there is very limited tabels so I learned that you have to leave the table after 1/2 hour. As I said it is the only thing for me. However the breakfast is very nice.

There is no internet. The staff forgot to schedule my airport pickup. The shower in the room above mine was leaking through the ceiling and through the air conditioning

The balcony was amazing and spacious and had a lovely view of the surrounding historic area, we ended up ordering food in one night and sitting on the balcony for tea. The location was perfect for exploring Pelourhino and there were nice places to eat nearby Raiz restaurant was really nice and there's a vegan place called Rango vegan which is popular at lunch time and very cheap. The staff at the hotel also put a bottle of champagne in our room as we were there for new years which was a lovely touch. On that note the staff were very helpful and friendly. Depending on which room you stay in you might have to climb a few stairs, our room was number 8 at the top but was worth it for the balcony. Great stay!
