Everything in the house was amazing...from the house, to the family there, Cinzia and Emanuele and the dog Olga..

The house is set on a hillside next to the medieval church( the bell is still ringing which gives extra charm to the location). The house itself is surrounded by stunning views and olive groves. It has own private garden with hot tub, decking chairs and a bbq. We used a terrace for breakfast and occasional evening meals. The house is renovated in Tuscan style and the rooms and kitchen are complete with traditional Tuscan furniture. It’s quite a special rental as you really feel you are in someone’s home and most importantly you feel at home yourself!( you’ve got a complete freedom) We loved everything there! The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. We’ll definitely come back!

Really nice flat with original old furnishing but still modern kitchen and bathrooms. Nice garden, fully fenced. Very nice and caring owners, very personal. Location is also good. Very quiet and rural but still close to Lucca. A car is required and some good driving skills if a car passes on the narrow roads.

The property is advertised as "whole house" but it's actually just an upper floor flat and the owners live in the flat downstairs. We were explicitly looking for a whole house for the privacy and in particular noisy kids which we felt had to be more quiet than in a house. There was absolutely no problem with the owners, they were really nice and caring. It was just the wrong expectation. As it was getting chilly at night we needed the heating, but unfortunately a few radiators did not heat up and couldn't be fixed. The internet was not working for the first two days (weekend) but was fixed on Tuesday morning. We were offered to use the internet in another flat but we could wait. Was not really a problem for us but still a bit annoying. No drawers for clothes in the bedrooms, only a wardrobe with hangers.

This Location is a 100% Tip! It feels like some part of the paradise in the middle of a quiet nature side olive grove but on the other hand, it's just a stone's throw to Lucca. Within 25 minutes by car, you have access to a beautiful nature Beach (Tip by our host! ;)) Cinzia and Emanuele are perfect hosts!
