This was our 4th visit to Palm Cove - we always stay at Peppers Beach Club as it's great for families, centrally located (right across the road from the small playground) and has a wonderful resort feel with the swim up bar, palm trees and multiple pools. I prefer to book the private apartments as they're considerably cheaper than booking direct. I was very happy with the communication from the property manager, we were also fortunate enough to have an early check in which was much appreciated. The apartments at Peppers are a little dated however they're clean and spacious and includes a big balcony which overlooks the beautiful lagoon pool. The location of this particular apartment was perfect as it's in the first block closest to the pool gate and also positioned next to the lane way which is a short cut through to William Pde with the cafes/restaurants/shops etc. I had read an earlier review where the guest was disturbed by constantly hearing the pool gate slamming shut due to the position of the apartment, thankfully this issue has been resolved and the pool gate is now soft closing so don't let that deter you. I would definitely stay at this apartment again!

Beach Club exceeded our expectations. We wanted a family holiday with a gorgeous pool swim up bar and great e pool was exceptional it was so nicely warm all the time, the beach into it is great for kids and adults that don't want to go deep, and the pool bar was a hit both with me and my husband but the kids loved sitting there drinking a kids slushie. Food at the pool was so good. Recommend the tacos. The room was amazing. It was overlooking the pool in the most perfect position so it was easy for us to run up if we needed anything. The room had 2 comfortable double beds, we all slept so well. The bath tub on the balcony was a nice treat. Will definitely come back.

Location is fantastic

The property needs a good clean some updates to make it so much nicer and give a slightly luxurious feel for the price. eg the furniture is very old and dated and uncomfortable. Some of ammenities could use an update ie coffee machine (we were also left the wrong coffee capsules so we couldn’t use it) as it’s a non standard machine can’t buy capsules anywhere close by either. The toaster, kettle, wine glasses should be an easy fix, just need some new ones from Kmart or target to fix that. There were no proper quilt covers on any of the beds, basically sheets on both side of the doona which was very strange and didn’t make the beds nice to sleep in, felt very cheaply done. Outside balcony area was noticeably dirty, cob webs all over the balcony walls especially in all corners and around the light outside.. needs a good clean and surface spider spray to keep them away. Outside spa area needs clean, dirty and grimy down both sides. Also the shower handle in the spa suite shower keeps falling off its hanger as it’s obviously the wrong size, was probably replaced, but makes it doesn’t site in the holder properly. This needs to be fixed asap.

Location and access to the pool and side lane made it really easy to get in/out. Nice view over the lagoon pool.

Apartment needs a bit of work/updating. A handful of things either didnt work or need fixing, and some of the furnishings were well worn. There was no space for storing pantry items in the kitchen, so the stuff just sat on the bench and took up most of the bench space.

Resort pool is fantastic, as is the resort in general. The serenity pool we only discovered half way through our stay and is a lovely place to relax away from the noise of children. Apartment very close to pool - so easy to pop back for snacks etc View over the pool area from the balcony is lovely Kids loved the outdoor jacuzzi bath! Spacious balcony with ability to dine outside Very powerful showers Resort very well located in Palm Cove - multiple cafes and restaurants and a little supermarket only a couple mins walk away. Whilst the apartment does feel a little dated (older furniture and kitchen), everything works and is comfortable and it is in such a great resort and location that we would def stay again.

It would have been useful to have insect killer spray available as we quite often had ants appear.
